Subject: A.P Govt. initiative for Job Drives through JKCs formation of District Placement Committee–

visited to the Companies - report –reg.

Ref: 1. JKC Coordinators and Mentors review meeting at Vijayawada on 22.10.2018.

2. Telephonic information received from JKCMC, CCE on 20.11.2018

In response to the references sited, a District Level Placement Team was formed with Sri.P.Sanyasi Rao, JKC

Coordinator, GDC Nagari , four FTMs and a guest mentor. The Committee met Sricity AGM Sri. Siva Kumar on

26.11.2018 and explained the initiative of JKCs in respect of job drives. He advised the Committee to contact the

DRDA and EGEM to get the information about companies and recruitment details. The committee was informed

that most of the companies are taking the candidates with ITI, Diploma and engineering qualification. The HR

manager of Rising stars mobiles expressed willingness to conduct job drives as and when the company requires

women candidates. The ZTT Company Senior Manager (Admin) expressed willingness to take commerce

candidates on the basis of requirements in future. Many companies located at Sricity look for candidates with

technical qualifications.

On the second day (i.e., 27.11.2018) committee formed into two teams and the first team visited

Margadarshi chit funds pvt. Ltd., Bajaj Finiser, IFFCO TOKIO General Insurance Company, Muthoot finance,

Manappuram Gold Loan, Apollo Pharmacy and Srini Foods Pvt.Ltd located at Mogili. The HR Mangers of the above

companies expressed willingness to participate in job drives when they require the candidates.

The second team visited Phanicare Pharmaceuticals pvt. Ltd., Srivar Pharma Private Ltd., Sreenidhi Raja

Packing solutions Pvt. Ltd., Malladi Drugs and Pharmaceuticals pvt. Ltd., Indian Potash Limited Cattle Feed Plant,

INDO MIM at Gajulamandyam near Tirupati. The team was informed by all the companies that they take candidates

with Polytechnic, ITI and diploma qualifications. However, they expressed willingness to participate in job drives

when they need candidates with non technical qualifications.. It is encouraging to note that most of the UG students

are interested in vertical progression. But many of them didn’t join stating the reason that they wished to pursue

higher qualifications and professional courses like B.Ed, M.B.A and M.C.A.
