demand by Academia today. The discussionwas meant for MCA students, JIMS to discuss

and get clarity on Industry requirements anddemands.

JIMS in collaboration with IBM ProjectPraviin organized the discussion where C-Suite executives from the industry i.e.,

Directors, CEOs & CTOs, shared their thoughtson the most vital aspects of the issues in thecommon interest of all the stakeholders of oureducational system.

The experts from the industry elaborated onthe skills set and what they look for in anemployable MCA student. They furtherdiscussed on topics like the future of theindustry in the next 2-3 years, the trends in theIT industry, how the job scene will be in thenext few years and the challenges inemployability.

Commenting on the discussion Prof. V.B Aggarwal, Dean, Info-tech, JIMS, who

also moderated the discussion forum said, A discussion like this is surely a fruitful way of improving and spreading awareness. Theinitiative taken by JIMS and IBM Project Praviinfetched the purpose and we now know much

more about the needs and wants of theindustry. And the need of the hour is to strivehard and work together for the betterment of the educational system of our country andimprove the industrial scenario.
