• Hotel has 476 guest rooms– Our block is 350

– Thus, no major competition with other groups

• Hotel is adjacent to the Oakland Convention Center– We will use some of that space,

however, the hotel has more than enough meeting rooms

– We need

– 1 plenary ballroom

– 8 parallel meeting rooms

• Services– Audio Visual Support for hire

– Internet for hire

– Possible internet solutions from LBL

Cost and Schedule

• Rooms $125 per night– Advance registration fee target: ~$200

– Banquet fee target: ~$50

– 30K food and beverage commitment req’d
