STEWARDS OF CHILDRENSunday, April 8, there will be a potluck lunch in the Fellowship Hall and Stewards of Children training session to follow in Room A120 from 12:30-2:30 PM. This is a free, 2-hour training on child sexual abuse prevention taught by Cary Rayson of Nashville’s Child Protection Coalition. RSVP to Lisa Toungette by Wednesday, April 4 if you plan to attend. Childcare will be provided.

BENEFIT DINNERThe World Christian Broadcasting dinner will be held at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs on Thursday, April 19, at 6:30 PM. Speakers will be Andy Baker and Edward Short. Please contact Randy McKinney or WCB at (615) 371-8707, ext 100 for more information or reservations.

BIRTHDAYWe want to wish a happy 96th birthday to Louise Austelle on Thursday, April 5. Her address is 117 Plantation Court, Nashville, 37221.

INNER CITY MINISTRYThe NICM was able to raise $135,000 with their recent Catfish Dinner. If you were unable to attend, you will have another opportunity in April on Thurs, Apr 19, and Fri, Apr 20. The bus will be leaving the building at 5:15 each night. Sign up in the foyer if interested.

DAY OF SERVICEOur Days of Service are scheduled for Apr 21-22. We have a variety of projects including painting, mulching, planting flowers, helping with Bingo at NHC, making visits, picking up trash and doing other small projects for our members. Daniel will be contacting everyone over the next few weeks to let you know where and when you will serve, and you can contact Daniel with any questions. Thank you for being available to help!

GOLF SCRAMBLEThe Spring Golf Scramble will be on Sat, Apr 28, at Greystone Golf Club. Lunch will begin at noon with the Shotgun Start at 1 PM. Sign up in the foyer.
