INDUSTRY READING ROOM
GUIDELINES
All electronic devices (phones, laptops, e-tablets, iPods,Blackberries, thumb drives, external hard drives, etc.)are prohibited.
Documents may not be removed from the ReadingRoom. However, upon request, the Reading Roomlibrarian will provide requested documents to theappropriate facility security ofcer.
TERMS OF USE
The Reading Room is a DoD resource. The highest
security accreditation level of this site is SECRET.DoD websites may be monitored for all lawfulpurposes, including to ensure their use is authorizedfor management of the system, to facilitate protectionagainst unauthorized access, and to verify securityprocedures, survivability, and operational security.Monitoring includes, but is not limited to, active attacksby authorized DoD entities to test or verify the securitysystem. During monitoring, information may beexamined, recorded, copied, and used for authorizedpurposes.
U.S. government policy is to treat classied militaryinformation as a national security asset that mustbe properly protected and only disclosed to foreigngovernments and international organizationsafter appropriate authorities have determined thatdisclosure is necessary and clearly advantageous tothe United States.
Use of this DoD resource, authorized or unauthorized,constitutes consent to monitoring. Unauthorized usersof this DoD website are subject to criminal prosecution.Evidence of unauthorized use collected duringmonitoring my be used for administrative, criminal,or other adverse action.
Privacy Act, 5 U.S.C. 552a, requires federal agencies to
inform individuals at the time information is solicited from
them, whether the disclosure is mandatory or voluntary, by theauthority such information is solicited and what uses the will
be made of the information. The authority for soliciting a Social
Security Number (SSN) is Public Law 104-134 (April 26, 1996)
as amended in Title 31, Section 7701. The disclosure of SSN is
voluntary. It will be used to confrm identity.

The Joint Improvised Explosive Device DefeatOrganization is working to leverage all pertinentresources and technologies in a coordinated campaign
to defeat the ongoing IED threat. Support from theDepartment of Defense, industry, academia, and other U.S. and international agencies is critical to this mission.
The JIEDDO Reading Room is intended to providecustomers, stakeholders, and industry partners witheasy access to JIEDDO’s capability gaps, emergingcritical initiatives, new developments, studies,documents, and items of interest for customers andpartners who have the appropriate security clearance,but not access to the information.
ACCESS
The Reading Room is open by appointment only. Submita visit request through the Joint Personnel AdjudicationSystem (JPAS ). JIEDDO’s security management ofcecode is W6J7AA6 .
A visit request form is available on the JIEDDO website(https://www.jieddo.mil ). Please include companysecurity ofcer’s signature on form.
