Steamer set___________________________________________________________________________
Steaming food is a common method of cooking in Chinese cuisine and is becoming increasingly popular around the world because of its health benefits. The resulting design is a simple and practical steamer set which is easy to understand and suitable for Asian and Western steam cooking alike. Honest and technologically simple materials combine to disguise a high level of functionality.
Modern Interpretation of Chinese Traditional Steaming Cooking

Steaming is considered a more healthy cooking method because people use less oil and steaming also results in a more nutritious food than boiling because fewer nutrients are leached away into the water.
Healthy Dining and Sustainable

The accompanying cedar wood steamer basket differs from others in that it has a perforated terracotta base. This material is ideally suited for steam cooking as it absorbs excess moisture and prevents the food from becoming soggy.
Terra cotta

The steamer pot and lid are made from glazed fireproof ceramic which is robust and versatile, and allows it to be used directly on the stove or in the oven. The material more stable and less susceptible to changes in temperature, making it less likely to crack or break during cooking.
Fireproof ceramic
Use & care:
The fireproof ceramic is highly water-absorbent. Avoid submerging the unglazed portion of the pot in water for extended period of time.
When cooking over direct fire, be sure to control the intensity of the heat to prevent the bottom of the pot from turning brown easily. But it’s normal that the bottom of the pot will turn dark brown after using for a period of time.
When steaming food with the steamer basket, it’s recommended to place a dish or baking paper on top of the terra cotta.
The steamer baskets are not recommended to be soaked in water for long to avoid water stain.
