Lanes Group Plc, remains focused on developing their JHL fleet to accommodate their customers

increasing demands. With over fifty FlexLine® units of various specifications, a large number of RECycler® units and with the latest CityFlex® CCTV unit, Lanes Group plc have the capability to perform their works as economically and as efficiently as possible.

The latest addition to the Lanes Group plc fleet are the ten tonne CityFlex® units. The main advantage of the CityFlex® is its size, making it ideal for use in towns, underground car parks, weight restricted locations and built up areas as a fast response unit, as well as being ideally suitable for utility works. The CityFlex® performs all minor jobs that normally pose high costs when using a large sewer cleaning tanker and it is also ideal as an on-call vehicle. Furthermore, the CityFlex® has a low net weight giving it a relatively high payload.

The latest range of CityFlex® units has been combined the most recent CCTV technology enabling the customer to avail of

substantial cost savings whereby only one to two operator personnel are needed to utilise the CityFlex® and the CCTV system resulting in reduced costs and increased efficiencies.

Currently Lanes Group plc have a number of 414 RECycler® and 10 Tonne CityFlex units in production, which will be delivered later this year.

Commenting on their commitment to the JHL product range the Lanes Group plc Group Managing Director, Wayne Earnshaw said: “I’m sure that Liam Kearney, (JHL Sales Director), will be the first to acknowledge that the JHL products are not the cheapest on the market, but from my experience they justify the spend in more ways than one. We have been working with JHL for over twelve years now and the quality of their equipment, the technology they use and the support that they provide is second to none. The first unit we purchased from JHL is still operating everyday without any problems, proving that the investment in high quality equipment is the only way forward.”

We are delighted to announce that Industrial Water Jetting Services (IWJS) have taken

delivery of two FlexLine® combined jetting and suction units. These new units will join the large number of JHL vehicles in IWJS’s waste fleet. Currently, IWJS has two additional RECycler® 312, a highly specialised SuperFlex® 415 and a high pressure, high capacity FlexLine® in production, which will be delivered later this year. These units are to cater for the

increasing demand they are experiencing for specialised higher performing vehicles.

Christopher Stewart, Managing Director, of IWJS has being working hard on the expansion and development of his business and has worked in consultation with the JHL design engineers to develop highly specialised equipment which fulfill IWJS requirements.

JHL custom builds all of our units taking our customer requirement into consideration at the design phase. The

FlexLine® units offer the customers the flexibility to undertake a wide variety of jobs with the same vehicle.

“When sourcing sewer cleaning tankers we look at jetting & vacuum performance capabilities, quality and environmental performance. In order for us to deliver a quality service to our customers, we in turn, need to be operating units that provide optimum all round performance. The JHL units offer us just that”, Christopher Stewart, Managing Director, IWJS.

Industrial Water Jetting Services (IWJS) make a long term commitment to JHL

CPJ Environmental Services Ltd, based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, has recently taken delivery of a

RECycler® 312 6x6 all terrain unit. With the RECycler® customers have a flexible high-tech unit which is developed for carrying out heavy jetting jobs, cleaning and de-silting works while utilising the fully automated RECycler® system.

The unit utilises the latest high performance CVS vacuum technology making it very powerful and an extremely quiet unit. It is also equipped with the latest URACA jetting system and is fully remote controlled and is hydrostatically operated, capable of operating on extreme gradients and rough terrains.

The JHL recycling technology is the most advanced technology on the market today. It is not simply good enough to claim that a unit can recycle dirty water while it fails

to clean the water to a high level. On our JHL RECycler® unit the water is cleaned to a high level utilising a large number of filtering processes. This significantly extends the life of the RECycler® and is the corner stone of our technology. Unlike other technology on the market today, the JHL RECycler® units do not sandblast internally.

Carl Jeffery, Managing Director of CPJ Environmental Services commented, “After completing UK and international market research I decided to choose this particular product because JHL are a well-established and reputable company which provide a good quality product specified to our requirements and for which there is first-class back up service. Our new 6 x 6 all terrain RECycler® fits the bill in all these respects.”

Brad has a vast array of expertise using JHL products and has a clear vision to grow the business using the best available and reliable technology on the UK and international market.

DSS Environmental has increased their JHL fleet considerably over the last few months. They operate the highly versatile FlexLine® 312 unit which has a fully installed CCTV system. This enables DSS Environmental to maximise their operators and vehicles performance and reduce the

unnecessary additional costs of having a separate CCTV van. They also have a number of RECycler® and CityFlex® units on their fleet thus enabling them to undertake a full turnkey service for their customers and utility maintenance contracts.

Commenting on their expanding fleet

Brad Witt, Managing Director, DSS Environmental said “We will continue to invest in the JHL product range as it gives us the versatility to compete at scale on today’s market. It was a great experience to visit their manufacturing operation in Denmark and meet with the engineers and design department.”

With the increased frequency of our adverse winter weather conditions we have introduced

a new product onto the UK market. This product is a heating system for the JHL equipment but can also be retrofitted onto non JHL equipment. It enables sewer cleaning equipment to operate during freezing temperatures. This product has been used in Scandinavia for over twenty years.

This product is available in two different types depending on the climate. Type one is a 9 KW version which heats the water on the unit in advance of the unit being operated or mobilised. This product is sufficient for the UK market and allows the units to operate in temperatures as low as -10°C.

It is possible to circulate heated water on one hose reel while operating the other. When the high-pressure unit is not operating,

it is possible to circulate heated water in both hose reels and in the pipe system of the high-pressure pump.

Type two can be utilised prior to the vehicle operation or can be used to mobilise units. This product has a complete installation process, heating of all moving components, enabling a faster circulation of hot water supply heating water to a higher temperature. This allows the unit to operate in temperatures as low as -40°C. This product is used by a number of our international customers in countries such as Russia, Iceland and Northern Norway.

All JHL equipment is designed to operate in various climates around the world from Australia to Greenland, operating in temperatures from +50°C to -40°C.

Be Prepared for the Next Big Freeze

HydroTech Drainage, based in Christchurch, New Zealand, is in the process of cleaning up one

of the worst earthquake disasters to hit the Island of New Zealand. Following the earthquake the city’s infrastructure has moved 2-3 meters. This has resulted in the collapse of the city’s sewerage system resulting in the need for every sewer to be cleaned and fully relined. Christchurch City Council says it will take up to two years to repair or replace the damaged sewers and water mains around the city. HydroTech Drainage has been working around the clock on double shifts to facilitate this clean up.
