(Kenetec) EdgeOn Systems, Inc. - Watertown, CT 2000 - 2004 Director of Operations Recruited by Kenetec to create and manage procurement, quality and all manufacturing operations. Initial task was to be part of a team to select and implement an ERP system, which was accomplished within six months. Another project was to deploy Agile PLM across all departments, which was completed concurrently with the ERP rollout. Within the first year, had four departments reporting and directly managed our off-site contract manufacturing partners. Main areas of development and responsibility included:

Procurement • Reduce obsolete inventory through brokers and leveraged ‘buy backs' through distribution. • Cultivate OEM partners in the Pacific Rim for WLAN and xDSL solutions as low-cost additions to the product line.

Manufacturing • Navigated agreements with primary manufacturer while negotiating with other vendors to attain cost reduction. • Led a number of successful prototype and pilot production builds within budget.

Quality Assurance • Worked with Engineering to increase test coverage during ‘burn-in’ in order to decrease testing costs. • Implemented requirements to ensure 100% node capture for in-circuit testability.

Logistics • Partnered with UPS to streamline customs clearance to Europe, India and the Pacific Rim.

In 1998, Turtle Beach sound cards accounted for more than half of the sound cards shipped in Dell Computers.
