Tocreateabackground,taketheendofyourtiedthreadandbringitoveranddownto6o’clock,gounderthetear-dropandtakethetreadtothenextcoilslotfrom12o’clockontheRIGHT.Now,takethethreadoverthefrontofthedropandheadtothenextcoilslottotheLEFTof6o’clock

Keep looping the thread over and under and in a clockwise direction until youreach12o’clockagain

Tie another slip-knot and using your clear nail polish leave a thin film over theknots

Once thepolishdries takeyoursecond threadand tieaslip-knot in the top.Youwillalwaysstartyourthreadfrom12o’clock.

If youwanted to create a gentle slope in thebaseof thedrop, takeyour secondthreadto6o’clock,gounder,thenheadto3o’clock
