Start to UseInstall the SIMCard and BatteryBefore you remove the battery,make sure that phone is poweredoff and disconnected from thecharger.

Perform the steps below to installthe SIM card:1 Take off the battery cover.

2 Take out the battery.

3 According to the illustration onphone, install the SIM card into

4 Install the battery.

5 Fasten the battery cover.

Chargethe BatteryCharging steps:1 Install the charger to the AC

power socket.2 Open the protection tube on the

charging interface of phone,and connect the charger tophone.

3 The charging sign on the LCDof phone displays the chargingprocess.

4 After the charging process iscompleted, remove the chargerfrom the power socket, andthen remove the charger fromphone.

Caution: Before the charging

process, make sure that thebattery is installed correctly.

During the chargingprocess, do not move thebattery. Failure to complymay damage the mobilephone.

Note: If the battery voltage is very

low, phone raises an alarmsound, prompts that batteryis drain, and displays the

battery icon as . If the battery voltage is too

low to keep the phoneworking, phone prompts amessage indicating thatphone will be automatically

powered off, and is thenpowered off automatically.

If the battery capacity isexhausted, it takes a fewminutes in the chargingprocess before thecharging icon is displayedon the LCD.

After phone is chargedcompletely, the battery icon

Advanced Operation

Fast dialupEnter the “Option -> PhonebookSetting -> Speed dial” menu.You can set eight fast dialupnumbers, corresponding to numberkeys 2 to 9.On the standby screen, you canpress and hold one number key ofthem to make fast dialup. Phoneautomatically dials thecorresponding telephone number ofthis number key.

SOS callYou can set five emergencycontacts. When the 【SOS key】

is pressed and held for a while,phone automatically sends shortmessages to these contactingnumbers cyclically, until a call is

accepted.

Emergency callYou can dial internationalemergency numbers on phone,such as 112 and 911, no matter theSIM card is installed or not.

Receive a CallWhen there is an incoming call,perform the following operations:

Press the【Send key】 toreceive the incoming call. If theearphone is inserted, you are inthe earphone mode and canreceive the incoming call byusing the earphone.

Press 【End key】key torefuse the incoming call.

Press 【RSR Key】 to receive the incoming call in

muted mode.

Call HistoryUnder the standby status, if youhave missed and dialed calls,besides received calls, the numberof different calls and icon aredisplayed on the LCD. You can

press 【LSR Key】to view un-received calls.

ProfileSelect the “Setting -> profile” menuto set ring types and volumes forincoming calls, message, alarms,keypad tones, alert type, ringvolume, ring type.

FMStart FM:Phone provides the FM function.You can enter the FM page to

Add a new telephone numberdirectly in the phonebook function.

AdvancedFunction Fast dialup: You can define fast

dialup numbers for numberkeys 2-9 by adding them fromthe phonebook or enteringthem manually. After fast dialup

numbers are defined, you canpress and hold a number key tomake fast dialup.

SMS FunctionRead a MessageRead the short message throughone of the following two ways:1. When a new message arrivesunder the standby screen:Read the short message on theSMS page. Press 【Left key】or 【Right key】 to turn pages, orpress 【Up key】or 【Down key】

to change lines.

2. Read a message from the inbox.Select a short message from theinbox.On the SMS page, you can pressthe dialup key shortly to dial a call

SIM card securitysettings;1. SIM lock: When theSIM card lock function isenabled, you must enterthe PIN code when you

power on the mobilephone each time.Otherwise, you cannotuse this SIM card. Enterthe PIN code correctly. Ifyou enter wrong PINcodes for three timesconsecutively, you mustenter the PUK code(personal unlocking code)to unlock and modify thelocked PIN code. If thePUK code is notavailable or is lost,contact the carrier.2. Change password:Use this function tomodify the PIN1 code

Phone lock: When themobile phone lockfunction is enabled, topower off the mobilephone and recover thefactory settings, youshould enter the correctmobile phone password,which is preset as “0000”upon delivery.

Check whether you havepress and hold thehang-up key for morethan one second.

Check whether thebattery is in good contact.Remove the battery andre-install it, and thenpower on the phoneagain.

Check whether thebattery capacity isconsumed. If yes,charge the battery.

An error message is displayedwhen you switch on the mobilephone

Enter the phone lockpassword. If theautomatic lock functionis enabled, you mustenter the phonepassword before you

use the mobile phone. Enter the PIN code. If

the PIN function isenabled, you must enterthe PIN code when youpower on the mobilephone each time.

In an area withweak signals, if themobile phone fails toreceive signals, it sendssignals continuously tosearch for BTSs, whichconsumes a largeamount of batterycapacity and makes thestandby duration short.In this case, move to alocation with strongsignals or power off themobile phonetemporarily.

The battery should bereplaced. In this case,replace a new battery.

Charging failure The contact is poor.

Check whether theconnector is properlyconnected.

These functions canfacilitate you to make callsconveniently while driving, insteadof being distracted.If you have hands-free kit, use it tomake or receive calls. If possible,
