Being able to draw on qualifications and knowledge relevant to the role, I have good practical experience and insight into dynamic and diverse project management, gained through my current employment as Project Manager at Coventry University. This is complemented by my theoretical awareness, achieved through academic study, possessing not only a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Business studies but also the Professional Postgraduate Diploma from the CIM. To lead on identifying budgetary requirements of the programme, propose investments to support capacity building and manage the delivery of objectives within agreed budget. Ensure sound management of financial costs incurred in GLP operations. To lead on the implementation of the programme’s communications and recruitment plan for GLP in order to meet the University’s corporate intake targets. To formulate plans focusing on the implementation of GLP international field trip offer in line with the International Strategy and the GLP Competency Standards Frameworks.

Programme: a skills development programme for university students to develop their transferrable skills and inter-cultural communication

Responsibility for the development, planning and successful implementation of a marketing and communication plan to ensure membership targets are achieved

Development of a range of targeted skills enhancement workshops ensuring that all parts are relevant to the development of students and the outcome required

Overall responsibility for the planning of over 160 on campus events and workshops plus 19 visits to International partners during the academic year

Required to visit a range of educational partners around the globe to support and facilitate visits by Postgraduate students

September 2010 – September 2012: Recruitment and Admissions Officer, Coventry University

Responsibility for recruitment and admissions marketing and procedures for part-time Postgraduate and Undergraduate courses across all faculties

Lead role with team for the development of effective communications via a CRM system, Data Harvester. This included weekly development calls with the provider and placing and chasing system development requests

Responsibility for the operation and organization of 3 University Open Days targeted at potential Postgraduate and part-time Undergraduate learners

Responsibility for the provision of accurate data to Course Directors regarding expected applications to courses and also the projected conversion from application to enrolment

September 2009 – August 2010: General Manager, Entrust Care (Charity), Coventry Main responsibilities:

Responsibility for maintaining successful funding relationships with key stakeholders Responsibility for developing and writing funding tenders. Successful bid to become one

of Coventry City councils preferred suppliers of “short break” care Full budget responsibility for the charity including working with accountants to provide full
