The tone of the poem is anger, the author writes very angrily andfiercely towards the topic of how when something happens to
aboriginal people, people just forget about it, but when it happens
to normal white society people make a big deal out of it.
The theme of the poem is revenge. Revenge is shownthroughout the poem, such as when the author writestherell just be medicine wheels and dream catcherrings everywhere and blow-outs thatll start to makeoklahoma look like a saturday afternoon tea andnostalgia to get back to something less onerous like
maybe the little big horn lyin in the dust. This shoesthat he wants to get a back at someone or somethingfor something that had happened in the past.
