Introduction
This user guide presents instructions for using Trip Kit On Demand. It includes steps for completing common tasks and resolving errors.
Intended Audience
The primary audience for this document consists of pilots and dispatchers who use Trip Kit On Demand to create trip kits, which are PDF versions of their route informa-tion.
System Requirements
Trip Kit On Demand is a web-based application, therefore the system requirements are the same as the requirements for your choice of the following web browsers:
• Internet Explorer, mobile and desktop (versions 10 and 11)
• Chrome, desktop only (most recent version and one prior)
• Safari, mobile and desktop (most recent version and one prior)
To display the file that Trip Kit On Demand generates, your device requires a PDF reader. Trip Kit On Demand does not have specific PDF viewer requirements; however, the iBooks app might be most convenient for iOS devices and Adobe Acrobat Reader might be most convenient for Windows devices.

Using Trip Kit On Demand
Trip Kit On Demand is a web-based tool for creating trip kits, which are PDF versions of route information. If Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro becomes nonresponsive, you can use the application as a backup trip kit tool.
Accessing Trip Kit On Demand
Typically, your Application Administrator for JDM Pro or a team member from Nav Support sends you a link to the appropriate Trip Kit On Demand user interface. The Trip Kit On Demand URL is active for only 180 days. Trip Kit On Demand is available as long as your device has internet connectivity and the URL is still active.
To access Trip Kit On Demand
1. Click the Trip Kit On Demand link.
The Trip Kit On Demand submission page appears, as shown in Figure 1.

Creating Trip Kits
After you access Trip Kit On Demand, enter the ICAO codes for one or more airports in your flight, or enter the entire route string. When you finish, submit your entries and Trip Kit On Demand generates a PDF of your trip kit.
You can create the following types of trip kits:
• A full trip kit that includes all information for your flight
• A trip kit that includes only terminal charts
• A trip kit that includes only enroute charts
When you access Trip Kit On Demand, the default settings include both terminal charts and enroute charts. If you deselect either option, the associated options become inactive.
To create a trip kit
1. Enter one of the following:
• The ICAO code for one or more airports, including origin, destination, or alternate airports. You can enter up to 15 alternate airports.
• The route string, using space or dot notation.
2. If appropriate, enter a flight number.
3. Manage your terminal chart options (Figure 2):
• To include terminal charts in your trip kit, ensure that the Include Terminal Charts check box is selected, and then:
a. Select a region from the Coverage list.
Your company determines the coverage options that are available to you.
b. To exclude origin information, deselect Arrivals and Approaches at Origin.
c. To exclude departure information for airports other than your origin, deselect Departures at Destination and Alternates.
• To exclude terminal charts from your trip kit, deselect Include Terminal Charts.

4. Manage your enroute chart options (Figure 3):
• To include enroute charts in your trip kit, ensure that the Include Enroute check box is selected, and then:
a. Select a chart type from the Chart Type list.

b. To exclude communication frequencies, deselect FIR/UIR Comms Frequency Pages.
c. To exclude reference notes, deselect Enroute Reference Notes Pages.
d. To exclude strip charts, deselect Strip Charts.
• To exclude enroute charts from your trip kit, deselect Include Enroute.

5. Click Submit.
Trip Kit On Demand validates your entries and displays the trip kit PDF.
IMPORTANT: After you generate a trip kit, review the contents of the PDF file to confirm that you generated the charts and notes that you need for your flight.
Working with Errors
If the application is unable to locate matches for items that you enter or if it encounters multiple matches, Trip Kit On Demand displays a list of errors.
Resolving “Nothing Found” Errors
When Trip Kit On Demand cannot locate a match for a point that you enter, it notifies you of the error, as shown in Figure 4.

Trip Kit On Demand cannot locate matches for the following elements that you might enter in the route description:
• Organized tracks
• Airspeeds
• Altitude
To resolve a “nothing found” error
1. Do one of the following:
• Edit the item in the route description field.
• Delete the item from the route description field.
2. Click Submit.
Trip Kit On Demand validates your entries, generates the trip kit, and displays the trip kit as a PDF.

Resolving Errors Associated with Multiple Matches
If you submit a route that includes a waypoint, fix, or navaid that has more than one potential match, the application lists the potential matches (Figure 5). Trip Kit On Demand displays the list in order by distance from the last validated element.

To resolve errors associated with multiple matches
1. Select the appropriate item for each error.
2. Click Submit again.
Trip Kit On Demand enters your new choices into the route, validates your entries, generates the trip kit, and displays the trip kit as a PDF.
