Enter JEPC account number.For multiple users you must use the same User IDDo NOT use suffixes !
Enter JEPC password, select language, then LoginTip: If using the Local/CD version, the language is already saved from when you installed JEPC and you do NOT need to select it.

How to use the All Model search box
1.Enter description or part number to search for – this can be in upper or lower case (e.g. abc123 or ABC123)
** there are no wildcard searches in JEPC v3, please do NOT use % or *.
2. Click Go
The All Model search box can be used and accessed at any time – it is shown in the menu bar to allow quick entry and searches.

3. Your search results will be displayed. To navigate to the illustration select the part number you require.

If your search produces more results than 50 for any model, you will be asked to refine your search using Advanced Search.

2. Select model from drop down list. Br default, you will search across the whole model, however you can refine your search by Category (e.g. Braking System), or Sub-Category (e.g. Brake Discs and Calipers) or even against a specific page (e.g. Brake Disc and Caliper-Front). See the red dotted line above.

Note that by refining your search the list of results is significantly reduced – here you have just 2 options.

Select VIN ID from the menu bar.

You are then presented with the VIN Summary and data. Press Search to navigate to the tree list screen and VIN Decode Search functionality

How to Search against a VIN
Within the menu bar the VIN search button is now available. Use the search box and this button to search against the whole decoded vehicle.
For improved response times select the category (e.g BRAKING SYSTEM) you wish to search in and enter your search criteria (either part number or description) and use the new search field .You can further enhance your search by also selecting the sub-category (e.g. BRAKE DISC AND CALIPERS).

Select the required part from the results list to navigate to the illustration page. No results will generate a “No results found..” message.

Drill into the part details list to find the part number(s).Click the text or the ‘+’ button.
Hotspotting also opens the Part Details list –just click the illustration number

The drop down tool allows you to go from illustration to illustration quickly and easily.
Even with a VIN decoded, the menu will automatically change so only the relevant pages are shown

1. Related Pages Drop DownUse the drop down to navigate to others pages ‘within’ the same sub-category, for example BRAKE DISC AND CALIPERS.2. Related Pages ArrowsThe blue arrows also move from image to image and the Home icon will return you to the original page.
HINT – use the Model drop down to move to a new model.

How to add a part to a shopping cart
Select required part by clicking the radio button and add to a new shopping cart (ensure you enter a name for your cart)
Or add to an existing open shopping cart –use the drop down to select cart name.

How to add multiple parts to a shopping cart
Tick as many parts are required and then click ‘Add to Shopping Cart’
*notice how your options have reduced, you no longer have Dealer Notes or Product Email.

Specific shopping carts can always be viewed by using the drop downs in the menu bar. Remember, JEPC can have multiple ‘open’ shopping carts.

1. Select part and click the Add Dealer Note link.

1. Select the part number you wish to e-mail the details about.
2. Click the Product Email link.

How to view A Pages (Intro Pages)
All models when displayed in the tree view have a red ‘i’ icon next to the name – click on this icon to launch the A Pages for that model.

A Pages (Intro Pages) are displayed as a PDF and can easily viewed, printed or even saved to a local file.

How to use My Customers
1. To add a new customer, press the “Add a New Customer” button.
2. All fields must be entered. Press “Submit” when ready.

Further facilities allow for adding new customers, amending details, and deleting customer records

How to submit a Technical Query
1. Select any part within the page and press ‘Technical Query’.

2. Fill in the form and select the relevant Category within Parts Technical – e.g. Electrical.
3. Press ‘Send’ and a confirmation box will appear to advise if the query was sent successfully.
Parts Technical will respond via email or phone.

How to view PIBs
To view all PIB’s select the ‘PIB View’ option from the menu bar.
JEPC will list all the current PIB’s loaded to JEPC.

PIB’s can be created at Page level and Part Number level. This is the icon and to view the PIB simply click the icon.

The PIB text is displayed and if applicable an attachment icon will be shown. To continue using the catalogue click the green ‘Back’ arrow.

JEPC v3 has several icons and below is a summary of every one:
= Supersession, click the icon to view the s/s information
= Dealer Note, click the icon to view the dealer note information
= Parts Information Bulletin, click the icon to view the PIB dataV
= Direct From Supplier, this icon displays those parts that are DFS
= A Pages, click the icon to launch the A Pages (Intro Pages)
= Classic Part, this icon displays those parts that are Heritage/Classic status

Contact Us – Holds contact data for when support is required.
Help – Downloadable file that can be saved locally.
Thesaurus – Simple list of alternative options, similar to current CD system.
Log Out – as it states, logs you out of JEPC.
Change Password – enables you to change your password (this will also change your JPC Password).
