• He openly challenged the evil powers behind Foday Sankoh and
Johnny Paul Koroma in their destructive war in Sierra Leone.

• JEL supports jobs with decent pay for youths, women and the other jobless people at home but he does not think he will be able to end tribalism or terminate corruption any time soon, if at all.
• JEL will work to discourage destructive tribal competition, encourage tribal cooperation and understanding as well as manage the public services and the economy to increase productivity and reduce both tribal frictions and corruption.
• JEL argues that a nation of mass poverty, joblessness, extremely low wages for the lucky few with jobs and a communal culture with large numbers of poor dependents, ending corruption is a mere pipe
dream.

• JEL will work to eliminate corruption at the top and higher-middle levels that has corrosively sickened and weakened our society.
