LOCATION

The Jefferson Riverbends Preserve is located between Twin Bridges and Whitehall, Montana

in an area known as Waterloo. The property is accessed by shared graveled driveway off of

Property is protected by existing Conservation Easement with Montana Land Reliance granted by

previous ownership in 1994. This easement is very compatible to the historic uses of the property and

have similar protective measures providing an expanded conservation of the riparian corridor.

The Jefferson River is well known for its outstanding brown trout fishery. Fish from the banks and

Both of these cities have commercial air-ports and all of the services and shopping amenities of larger cities. Whitehall offers a K-12 school with about 440 children (Class B School) enrolled, 9 churches of several denominations, a medical and den-tal clinic and ambulance services. In addition, White-hall offers 2 parks, rodeo grounds, baseball fields, sum-mer swimming pool, movie theatre, and volunteer fire department. There are four higher learning institutions within an hours drive of Whitehall.
