Qualifications:Beyond being an innovative,self-starter that can adapt to changing priorities,the key qualifications for the job are listed below: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Technology or a related field with a minimum 1 year of progressively responsible experience in application and infrastructure analysis. Experience should be with enterprise-wide applications including evaluating business process alternatives. Those possessing a diploma will be required to have 2 years of relevant experience. Applicants possessing a 1 year related certificate with 4 years of relevant experience will also be considered Knowledge of relevant applications toolsets and standards, managing documentation, source files and data, unit testing, integration testing, production validation, software development and support Experience in the public safety industry is an asset Experience with Intergraph I/CAD, and related systems is an asset Experience with .Net is an asset Experience in Oracle 9i database or later, Oracle Developer 10g, SQL, PL/SQL, is required Experience in supporting Unix (Solaris), Windows 7 workstations, and Windows 2008 Servers are assets Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem resolution, and customer service skills Demonstrated ability in managing priorities and workloads Well developed analytical and organizational skills Familiarity with Cobit 5 Framework is an assetOpportunity Level:Candidates possessing the educational qualifications, but less than two years experience may be considered at the opportunity concept level

Hours of Work:40hours per week, Monday to Friday.

SalaryRange:21B, Salary Grade: 044; $36.060-$45.437(Hourly), $75,293 -$94,873(Annually).The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
