Introduc.onThankyouforchoosingtopurchasetheJCRDevelopmentsSuperLowSeatFrame.Asyouarewellaware,thestandardnon-adjustablesea.ngposi.ongreatlycompromisesanotherwiseexcellentcar.Itwasourfeelingthatdevelopingasolu.onfortheop.onalRECAROshellseatwouldresolvethismajorflaw.ANeranextensivedesign,developmentandtes.ngprogramme,weareexcitedtobeabletofinallyreleasethefinishedproduct.Thefinalproducthasbeenextensivelytestedonroadandtrack,comple.ngseveralthousandmilesofdurabilitytes.ng,includingover200milesontheNürburgringNordschleife.WeareconfidentthatthenewframesofferanexcellentreplacementtothestandardFordcomponentmee.ngFIAsafetystandards,matchingtheOEMs.ffnessandexceedingtheadjustabilityusinggenuineRECAROseatrunners.

Duringassembly,unlessotherwisestated,allM6boltsshouldbetorquedto18NmandallM8boltsto24Nm.ItisrecommendedthatathreadlockcompoundofLoc.te241orequivalentisusedonboltsduringassembly.
Assembletheupperbracketstotherunnersusing2oftheM6x16andlockingnuts(HW5hexand11mmringspanner)and2oftheM8x16boltsandlockingnuts(HW6hexand13mmringspanner)suppliedinthefastenerbagforeachbracket.Notetheorienta.onofthedirec.onarrowsonthebrackets(ensuretheypointtowardstheendoftherunnerswheretheadjusterbarmounts).Ensuretherunnersaresquaretoeachotherbeforetorqueing.Foreaseofassemblyyoumayneedtomovetherunnerstoaccesstheboltholes.Todoso,pressdownontheadjustermechanismonbothrunners(1)inthebelowloca.on.
