JCI History

1915: Founded by Henry Giessenbier in St.

Louis, Missouri, USA.

1944: Delegates from 8 countries met in

Mexico City at the first international

conference to officially form Junior

Chamber International.

1958: JCI Norway became an official member

of the JCI network.
