We the JCI member from Jessenlton had a dinner celebration at Fisherman Seafood Restaurant.

Oganized by JCI member Darren Yong. Thank you Darren Yong for the wonderful event and Gong Xi Fai Chai! May the fire dragon bless us!

Early March, We JCI menber were busy gather, meeting, and planning for our very important night for our JCI jesselton chapter Night on the 7th of Apirl.

Our OC is Vivian lee, she lead and guide us throught our hardship in this even. We planned our location for our chatper night at Le Meridien. we were lucky, Le Meridien had good equipment and price budget for our project.

we even deciede to Invite our Lord Mayor of Kota Kinabalu, Datuk Abidin madingkir as our Guest Of Honor.

On 7th of April, JCI Jesselton Chamber Night was held at Le

Meridien Hotel Kota Kinabalu. The event was successfully

organized by fellow member Vivian Lee and a big help from our

Mother chapter JCI Sandakan.

The Guest of Honor for the event was GOH YBhg. Datuk Abidin

Madingkir, Lord Mayor of Kota Kinabalu City. He witnessed how

the event was organized very peacefully and wonderfully. He

too also witnessed the new born of the new members of JCI

Jesselton.

Thank you for everyone who supported us the JCI Jesselton

members to build and

born new leader.

On March 5th, it was JCI Jesselton Charter President Melvin Ho birthday.

We went to Upperstar, Damai for dinner. We chatted and joked about anything and everything. We really had a good time and we surprised him with a Birthday cake.

The birthday boy was speechless and thanked us the for the wonderful time.

We the JCI Jesselton member had Team

building camp on 1st to 3rd of April at

Labuan. Our leader for the camp was Teresa

Alberto from JCI Sandakan. The camp was

organized by JCI Labuan.

During the camp, there were many activities,

for an example we had talent show, treasure

hunt, and many more. Other than that, we

get to camp under the stars and experience

the beauty of Mother Nature. But on the

2nd night of camp, around 9pm it rained for

a while and it continual again after an hour

or so. The rain last till 5am in the morning

and everyone had to hit the hay inside the

hall, to protect ourselves from the rain.

Other than that, it was one of our member’s

Birthday and we celebrated with a cake and

many more games.

The camp was a successful event and we

have learned a lot about leadership and

partnership. Thank you JCI Labuan to give

us the opportunity to experience such a

wonderful event.

On April 20th, we had a new member orientation by Evonne Chong. She introduced and explained what is JCI and our main goal. She taught many things for example The Purpose of Junior Chamber, The Declaration Of Principles, Opportunities Available in Junior Chamber, The Individual Member and many more. We learned a lot and we had a lot of fun too.

On May 31st, we had a gathering to go water rafting

organized by JCI Jessenlton member Alton Lee. JCL

Luyang and Sandakan also joined in the fun too!

Early morning we meet up at the bus station and took

a bus to Beaufort, it took about 2 hours. After we

reached Beaufort, we took a train to Temon and it took

about 3 hours. And finally! We reached our destination.

OC Alton Lee, gave an opening speech; after that we

got ourselves prepare, we wore helmet and life jacket.

The worker gave us instruction on what and how to

water rafting. A few pointer by them was “never panic,

always stay calm.” They showed us some demo and

what position we are suppose to do when something

happen. After everythiOn May 31st, we had a gathering

to go water rafting organized by JCI Jessenlton member

Alton Lee. JCL Luyang and Sandakan also joined in the

fun too!

Love is in the air for fellow Vice President Sunny!

On July 7th we had a mission to do and that is

help VP Sunny to proposal to his love of his life

Sanny! We all gather at Party Play, Lintas. We

rehearsal our line and timing. After that we had

a discussion and shared our experience.

Our VP was very nervous and he kept smiling.

Looking at the diamond ring and from the look

from his face, he is dreaming of the wonderful

future awaits him. And finally the time have

arrival! We all line up , we had flower with us

and one by one we gave Sanny the flower.

She was very surprise, and everyone started

clapping. After we gave her the flowers, we

hold up a card that says “MARRY ME?” And

the superstar went up to the stage and sang a

beautiful for Sanny. After that he took out the

small box that would change his life forever, he

bent on one leg and opened the box, and he

said “ Sanny, will you marry me?” And with a

lot of laughter and smiling, Sanny replied with

“Bah, Fast fast help me la.” And

our VP put the right on her finger.

On 20th of August, We JCI

Jesselton gather once again for our very 1st

Anniversary Dinner at jesselton Hotel.Organize by

JCI menber Jowie Loi. We were chatting, laughting at each

other. Then suddenly the waiter gave us some caryon and told

us we can draw stuff on the table. That when, JCI Evonne Chong

Start conteng (Drawing) on the table like a little girl. After that,

we sign our name next to Evonne drawing and continue our

delightful evening with some seafood italy dish.

Thank you Jowie Loi for Hosted a wondefull and memories

evenning for us.
