The Internet is abuzz with news about the construction of internment camps all across America Of course mainstream media outlets refuse to touch the subject or if they do they pooh-pooh the story they do what Glenn Beck recently did try to debunk the story as fallacious and impugn people who speak of it as conspiracy nuts The fact that the Becks Hannitys Limbaughs and OReillys of the media circus refuse to deal with the construction of large numbers of internment camps does not make them disappear however

For starters all anyone need do to begin a serious investigation of the subject of internment camps is Google the phrase FEMA Camps There is more than enough evidence in that search engine alone to keep one busy with some in-depth private investigation of the subject for quite a while

As people read my columns all across America I have had numerous readers contact me saying that they have personally witnessed the transportation of construction materials used for internment camps have actually worked in and around them or have personally seen such camps These eyewitness testimonies have come from very credible people including law enforcement and military personnel as well as airline pilots and construction workers

Just a few weeks ago I was aboard a cross-country flight when the passenger I was sitting next to (a total stranger) asked me

to take a look out the window He asked Do those look like internment camps to you I was astonished that the man (1) would even know to notice such a potentiality and (2) would be so bold as to ask such a question of a total stranger I must say I was extremely happy to make his acquaintance And we had a very warm and invigorating discussion the rest of the trip

We were flying over Colorado over extreme wilderness terrain and yes right in the middle of nowhere the buildings and surrounding features that I saw sure looked like internment camps to me Of course flying at over 30000 feet in the sky makes it difficult for any kind of detailed analysis to take place that is for sure

Then a friend recently brought this URL to my attention

Furthermore I have had military personnel tell me that many of the US military bases that have been recently closed are also being prepared as large-scale holding areas

Obviously the question that begs to be asked is Who is the US government planning to intern and resettle And another question is How many people are they planning to in-

tern that would require the massive number of camps that are apparently being constructed

Some suggest that these facilities are being prepared for large numbers of illegal immigrants This seems extremely doubtful however considering the propensity of the federal government to (1) do next to noth-ing to seriously curtail the flood of illegal aliens into America (2) do virtually noth-ing to apprehend illegals known to be in the US and (3) do everything it can to facilitate the release of those illegals incarcerated by State and local authorities To think that the federal government intends to place thou-sands of illegal aliens in internment camps borders on lunacy If anything the federal gov-ernment (with either Democrats or Republicans in charge) has done everything it can to (1) entice illegals to come to America and (2) provide every incentive for them to stay il-legally in this country after having entered I feel safe in saying that we can eliminate the possibility that these camps are being prepared for illegal aliens

Others suggest that these internment camps are being constructed to accommo-date enemy combatants from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars Yet the total number of these types of detainees is miniscule compared to the detention space being constructed Can one really imagine the need to build facilities that could accom-modate prisoners numbering in the tens of thousands to house a few hundred foreign troops I dont think so

Then of course there are those who continue to deny that these internment camps exist at all But then were there not thousands of Germans who denied the existence of concentration camps during World War II These types of people would refuse to believe the sun came up in the east

if the government spinmeisters told them it didnt

That our federal government is building large numbers of holding areas or intern-ment camps seems to be an established fact The only questions that remain are Why and For whom

At this point the imagination can take us anywhere but it is not a little disconcert-ing when the same federal government that is building these internment camps begins categorizing Christians conserva-tives people who support the Second Amend-ment people who oppose abortion and homo-sexual marriage people who oppose the North American Union and the New World Order people who oppose the United Na-tions and illegal immigration and people who voted for Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin as extremists or potential dangerous militia members

Anyone knows that before a government can begin persecuting and imprisoning large groups of people they must first marginalize them As someone said Just because you are paranoid does not mean they really arent trying to get you

In fact an argument could be made that by todays politically correct definition Americas Founding Fathers would be categorized as paranoid extremists or potential dangerous militia members I would even go so far as to question the patriotism of anyone today that is not a little paranoid This federal government has certainly earned whatever paranoia citizens feel

Feelings of paranoia notwithstanding why is the federal government constructing large numbers of internment camps and who does the government plan on incarcerating in those camps Those questions still need to be answered

sess listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners but as for you the LORD your God has not allowed you to do so (Deuteronomy 1814) It is natural for people to seek spiritual direction for their lives

Uncertainty about the future difficulty ren-dering an important decision apprehension over an unpredictable circumstance or even simple curiosity inspire people to seek information from the supernatural The Torah warns us not to seek spiritual direction from the occult God forbids us to consult soothsayers palm readers fortune-tellers mediums psychics and the like Horoscopes seacuteances Ouija boards divination spell-casting and all other forms of occult arts are utterly forbidden The Torah says that whoever practices occult arts is detestable to the LORD (Deuteronomy 1812) The Didache a compendium of instructions to Gentile believers composed sometime in the late first century or early second century states that occultism is a form of idolatry

Thou shalt not practice magic thou shalt not practice witchcraft My child be not an observer of omens since it leads the way to idolatry neither an enchanter nor an astrologer nor a purifier nor be willing to took at these things for out of all these idolatry is engendered

The occult is the realm of the demonic Playing with the occult is an invitation to bring demonic activity into our lives Rather than turn to the occult for contact with the supernatural Israel is to turn to Gods prophets Wouldnt it be nice if there were reliable prophets like Moses today Imagine having the ability to seek counsel directly from God

Suppose you were trying to decide whether a certain person was right for you to marry Few decisions in life are so momentous If there was ever a time to seek spiritual direction it would be at that moment Wouldnt it be nice to be able to go to a reliable and true prophet of God and ask the question The prophet could consult the LORD on your behalf and you would receive a direct answer

On rare occasions the gift of prophecy did function like that but the prophet of God was not a kosher fortune-teller The true prophet could only speak what God gave him to speak He could not force an answer from God Ordinarily it was God who initiated a prophecy by sending a prophet out to deliver a message

In todays world true prophets are sparse Word from the LORD was rare in those days visions were infrequent (1 Samuel 31) But we are not left without spiritual direction We have the written Word of God which was spoken and recorded by the prophets Our Bible is the written transcript of Gods conversations with the prophets The books of the prophets preserve the living voice of God offer concrete spiritual direction and reveal the future When we are in need of spiritual direction the first place we should look is inside our Bibles

ProphetsThe lead Democrat steering an immigration

overhaul through the Senate said Wednesday he expects to have a bill ready by Labor Day that is more generous to highly skilled immigrant workers than those who are lower skilled and is tough on future waves of illegal immigration

In an interview with The Associated Press Sen Chuck Schumer said an immigration bill can be done by the end of the year or early next year that works out disagreements between labor and business interests on the flow of legal foreign workers

I think well have a good bill by Labor Day said Schumer D-NY I think the fundamental building blocks are in place to do comprehensive immigration reform

Schumer said the way to get the bill done is to be very tough on future waves of illegal immigration He declared himself pro-immigration and said the US should encourage legal immigration and find some kind of path for people now here to find a way to legal citizenship

We have a shortage maybe of engineers here or PhDs in physics but we probably dont have a shortage of people who can do construction work

Schumer saidThe AFL-CIO and the Change to Win

labor unions earlier this year announced their support for immigration reform which they have opposed in the past

But the unions continued opposition to increases in visas for foreign workers is at odds with the demand by business for legal foreign workers in industries ranging from high-technology to agriculture

I think one of the ways to bridge it is to look at the different areas of labor and where there are shortages and where there are not and where just workers are being brought in for exploitive purposes broadly put meaning just get lower wages rather than having a shortage Schumer said I think if you look at each broad field you can see that one size does not fit all

Schumers office has met to dyscuss his bill with Compete America a coalition

pushing for more visas for foreign workers Members of the group are skeptical of a labor proposal for an appointed commission to set limits on visas and green cards given to legal residents said Robert Hoffman an in-house lobbyist for Oracle a software company and member of Compete America

Ana Avendano AFL-CIOs director of immigration policy said Schumers one size doesnt fit all view is shared by labor We want employers to have workers they need but the key is determining when there is a real need not one employers make up when they import temporary workers

Earlier Wednesday Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said beginning Sept 8 businesses wanting federal contracts would have to use E-Verify a Web-based system to check whether their employees are legally working in the US The Bush and Obama administrations had delayed implementing the rule

The Senate voted for a proposal to make the E-Verify system permanent as it debated a spending bill for the Homeland Security Department

The department also said it is abandoning a Bush administration plan to force employers to fire workers who cant resolve a mismatch between their Social Security numbers dont match their names The administration said it would come up with a new rule

The Bush administration had tried to root out undocumented workers through so-called no-match letters that the Social Security Administration sends employers But a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union has prevented the rule from taking effect

Texas Rep Lamar Smith ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee said the two announcements send mixed signals

The administration is saying illegal immigrants shouldnt have jobs by supporting the federal contracting rule but making it harder for companies to follow the law by doing away with the Bush no-match rule

After repeated statements made during Senator Obamarsquos presidential campaign that he did not believe in same-sex marriage the Obama Administration has come out this week swinging with both fists to fight against the Federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) calling it discriminatory against homosexualsPresident Barack Obama

This attack on natural marriage is a clear example of Obamarsquos unprincipled political hypocrisy Obama is now out of the closet with his support for homosexual unions and rights CADC warned of this last fall and it should be no surprise to anyone Obamarsquos double-mindedness was clear even in the midst of his presidential campaign He would not support Californiarsquos Proposition 8 that protected the definition of natural marriage but still argued that he was for traditional marriage

Now the Department of Justice reflects Obamarsquos marital schizophrenia In one case the DOJ is seeking to have a suit brought by a same-sex California couple challenging the DOMA dismissed On the other hand a new lawsuit has been brought forth chal-lenging the Actrsquos constitutionality Justice Department lawyer Scott Simpson declared that the Obama administration does not

support DOMA as a matter of policy and believes that the Act is discriminatory and should be repealed by Congress In a written statement President Obama states that he has long held that DOMA prevents LGBT [lesbian gay bisexual transgendered] couples from being granted equal rights and benefits

Obamarsquos support for the radical homo-sexual agenda has been apparent since the beginning of his presidency From inviting the notorious openly homosexual Episcopal Bishop Eugene Robinson to lead in presiden-tial inaugural festivities to inviting homosexual ldquofamiliesrdquo for the White House Easter Egg hunt to his historic first ever meeting with homosexual activists in the White House Obamarsquos support for the homosexual cause has been very clear and unwavering Yet this is not the ldquochangerdquo that people voted for Every time voters are given the chance to vote on homosexual marriage they always come out in favor of natural marriage Even some that supported Obama did so under the assumption that he was for traditional marriage In his famous interview with Rick Warren when asked what he believed marriage to be Obama stated ldquoI believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman Now for me

Obama Finally Comes Out of the Closetas a Christian mdash for me mdash for me as a Christian it is also a sacred union Godrsquos in the mixrdquo

When asked by Warren if he would support a Constitutional Amendment defining it that way Obama replied that he wouldnrsquot ldquoBecause historically we have not defined marriage in our constitution Itrsquos been a matter of state law That has been our tradition I mean letrsquos break it down The reason that people think there needs to be a constitutional amendment some people believe is because of the concern that mdash about same-sex marriage I am not somebody who

promotes same-sex marriage but I do be-lieve in civil unionsrdquo

Confused You should be because Obamarsquos position is logically challenged and conflicted

If DOMA is overturned then all the laws in 41 states protecting natural marriage would be overturned under the 14th Amendment ldquofull faith and creditrdquo clause of the Constitution Even voter approved amendments to 30 state con-stitutions would be overturned All states would have to honor out of state homosexual marriages
