The JB Classical Music Festival 2015, a Johor Bahru: International Festival City event brought to you by the Johor Society for the Performing Arts and the Euroasia Association of Performing Arts, seeks to provide a platform for not only students but also teachers to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of chamber music, while also aiming to increase the standard of classical music in Johor Bahru by educating music teachers and providing them with more options on how to teach and nurture their students. Rediscover classical music from a whole new perspective from 1-3 May, with interactive workshops and performances by the best classical musicians and educators in the region such as T'ang Quartet, the National Symphony Orchestra from Istana Budaya featuring Cecilia Yap, Loo Bang Hean, Ryan Lewis, Andrew Filmer, Angel Lee and Jonathan Oh. Also featured in the programme will be local young talents from the Foon Yew High School String Orchestra (宽中弦乐团).
