On Saturday, November 4, 2017, 1,500 locals will eat, drink and dance the night away to support Brevard Zoo’s animal wellness, conservation and education programs—and you’re invited to be a part of it! More than 40 of the area’s best restaurants are doling out all-you-can-eat servings of their most sumptuous, iconic dishes, while limitless beer, wine, liquor and cocktails flow from well-stocked open bars scattered throughout the Zoo. What would Jazzoo be without music? Perennial favorite Jackiem Joyner returns with his original and exciting “soul jazz” saxophone hits. Making her Jazzoo debut is New Orleans-based fiddler Amanda Shaw, who blends classical Cajun sounds with contemporary pop tunes. But Jazzoo is more than just jazz—talented country, surf rock, top 40’s, acoustic and classic rock artists will be on hand to satisfy all musical tastes. In addition to the general festivities, four unique themed venues await guests seeking an escape from the ordinary, including a Biergarten, Sports Bar (broadcasting the evening’s hottest games in high definition), Cigar Lounge and Food Truck Alley. New this year is the Premium Club, a Sponsors-only venue nestled in the shadows of massive, lifelike animatronic dinosaurs (which will debut to the Zoo-going public two weeks later as part of a special exhibit). Escape the crowds with table and lounge-style seating, prehistoric eats, dino-themed drinks and the musical stylings of The Gemini Band. Sponsors are also invited to attend a Friday night Sponsor Soirée. This intimate gathering features exquisite cuisine presented by a prestigious, hand-picked selection of local chefs, fine wines and spirits, and a private performance from Jackiem Joyner.
