At the end of the course the students will be able to integrate knowledge related to medical and surgical health into practice by utilizing the nursing process in providing individualized nursing care for different clients showing medical/surgical problems in the medical-surgical unit.

Lecture/small group discussion to describe causes, signs/symptoms and therapeutic modalities.
