WHAT’S HAPPENING ON THE FINANCE SIDE?

• Previously• JPA would fund wireless & VoIP 9-1-1• PSAP would fund landline 9-1-1

• After the ESInet connection is made for a PSAP• JPA funds all 9-1-1 delivery (LL, VoIP, WRLS)

• Important!!!!!• Make sure to clean up your LEC billing after ESInet is

deployed.• Particularly those PSAPs with 9-1-1 trunks coming from

the tandem in non-CenturyLink exchanges.

• MSAG Development• Develop MSAGs where they do not exist• Update MSAGs are not conformant with USPS addressing

• New Interconnection Options for Local Exchange Carriers.• Need to move LEC to PSAP direct trunks to common

aggregation points (Analog and IP)
