Library was our first field trip. We search for books to do our research. It was fun to read in the library.

PyramidMaterials 12 straws, 20 paperclips, construction paper, tape.I build a square pyramid. I thought that it will hold 100 screws. It held 220 screws. It was really strong.

cubeMaterials 20 straws,

paperclips, cups. Lay out my straws. Determine how to build my cube. On the middle of my cube I put 2 pyramids to make it stronger.

Creating a columnMaterials clay, roll,

wax paper, tooth picks, designs, flour.

Procedure roll out the clay. Keep it even on the outside.

Roll on to wax paper roll.

Create top and base. Let it dry.

strength columnsMaterials paper roll,

books, salt. I put salt inside the paper roll to make it strong. It held 6 books with salt.

Downtown TourThis field trip was

the second one. We saw many things from the city in Downtown.

bridgesThere are 5 bridges,

beam, arch, suspension, cable-stayed, cantilever.

Materials 3 sheets, 2 books same size 2 more books different.

Purpose was to see if our bridge could hold 50 pennies.

Put paper on top, fold the paper.

Now start adding the pennies.

Gingerbread House We made a house of

candy it was so much fun.

The house was delicious. I ate it with my sisters and parents.

It took me lot of time to build it and we ate it fast.

TheaterThis was one of my

field trips. We went to see “The

Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”

It was a fun story and with a happy end.

Eiffel TowerMaterials popsicle

sticks, glue, design. Steps to build

sketch a design then collect materials and lay out structure and glue it.

DomesWe need gum drops

and toothpicks. The dome was a circle on top and the sides were like triangles it was delicious.

Children Museum This field trip we

played a lot. It was fun to build

many things and. I wish I could go

again because I did like this field trip.
