Seto Ōhashi Seto Ōhashi is a series of double deck bridges connecting Okayama and Kagawa prefectures in Japan across a series of five small islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Built over the period 1978–88, it is one of the three routes of the Honshū-Shikoku Bridge Project connecting Honshū and Shikoku islands, and the only one with railroad connections included. At 13.1 kilometers (8.1 mi), it ranks as the world's longest two-tiered bridge system. • Crossing the bridge takes about 20 minutes by car or train. The ferry crossing before the bridge was built took about an hour. The non-discounted toll from Kojima, Kurashiki (Okayama Prefecture on the Honshu side) to Sakaide (Kagawa Prefecture on the Shikoku side) is ¥3,500, and vice-versa.

Awa Jurobe Mansion Puppet Theater and Museum

Awa Ningyo Joruri is a traditional performance art of Tokushima using puppets made of cypress wood. The

Ritsurin Garden

Shikoku Mura Village

• Slip back in time to the period between the 1600s and the early 1900s! Old traditional houses were transported and re-built here to create an outdoor museum where visitors can experience the old way of life. 8:30-17:00 (closes at 16:30 during November through March) Adults: 800 yen, High school students: 500 yen, Elementary school/Junior high school students: 300 yen. It’s close to Ritsurin garden. A bit further east.

Matsuyama Castle

• This beautiful castle is a designated Important Cultural Property of Japan and also received two stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan! Try on a set of armor for free and find out what it feels like to be in the shoes of a feudal warlord. Adults: 500 yen, Elementary school students: 150 yen.

Seto-ohashi Tower

• The tower stands in Seto-ohashi Memorial Park. Visitors can enjoy 360-degree panoramic view from its observation room, which moves up to 108 meters above the ground.
