Dear Parents of the Cougars group: This month we are going to work with the topic of "Jobs and professions". We consider that it is a very attractive theme for the kids because they are beginning to understand the way in which the world and the community around them works. Therefore, this topic allows them to recognize the importance of the role that each person has in society, as well as the cooperation that must exist between all its members. The main goal of this month will be to explore the topic, so the kids can understand the hundreds of opportunities that a person has to develop professionally and at a personal level. This way children can explore their tastes, passions, hobbies and imagine what they would like to do in the future. One of the most interesting activities we will do, will be the visits of some of the children's relatives, who will tell them about their professional experiences. We hope to be able to count on you so that you can explore this topic at home, giving a chance to your kids to visualize their future, tastes and professional goals!

• During the day we will try to emphasize in how the acts, gestures and words they use can affect others. Recognizing other people’s emotions helps them to understand others.

• The rules in the classroom will be reinforced with the use of images that illustrate the behaviors that are expected and the ones that are not expected.

• Every morning kids will be expected to take their agenda out of the bag packs, change their shoes to crocs and recognize where they use each of them during the day. During meals and lunch, they are responsible for bringing their plates and cutlery after they have finished their food.

• The kids will prepare their assignments at home and later do presentations about jobs and different professions. This will help increase their self-confidence.

• During the free game in the classroom and outside of the classroom, kids will be encouraged to share toys and games with their classmates.

Apreciados padres de familia de Pumas:

Iniciaremos el mes de marzo con el tema de “Las profesiones”. Pues, consideramos que es un tema que resulta muy atractivo para los niños ya que ellos están

comenzando a realizar comprensiones sobre la forma en que funciona el mundo que los rodea, la comunidad en la que viven y la socialización que surge en los

espacios en los que ellos se desenvuelven. De tal forma, este tema permite reconocer la relevancia del rol que ejerce cada persona en la sociedad, así como la

cooperación que debe existir entre todos sus miembro, permitiendo que surja una sana convivencia.

Dicho esto, la principal meta de este mes será explorar a profundidad el tema en cuestión, para comprender los cientos de oportunidades que tiene una persona

al desarrollarse a nivel profesional y a nivel personal. Así, los niños podrán explorar sus gustos, pasiones, hobbies e imaginar que quisieran ser y hacer en un

futuro. Una de las actividades más interesantes que realizaremos, serán las visitas de algunos de los familiares de los niños, quienes van a contar acerca de su

vida profesional y aquellos aspectos más relevantes y llamativos de sus profesiones.

¡Esperamos poder contar con ustedes para que puedan explorar como familia este tema en casa, dando a los niños una primera posibilidad de visibilizar su

futuro, gustos y metas profesionales!

Lunes 18 al viernes 22: semana de exposiciones sobre las profesiones. Del lunes 25 al viernes 29: visitas de padres de familia para exponer sus profesiones.

• Se continúa reforzando el seguimiento de normas en el salón de clase. Para esto se hace uso de imágenes que ilustren los comportamientos y acciones esperados y no esperados en los momentos de juego libre y actividades específicas.

• Todas las mañanas los estudiantes deberán sacar su agenda de la maleta y entregarla a la profesora. Los cambios de zapatos a Crocs deben ser reconocidos por los niños al establecer la relación de cuál de estos se utiliza dentro y fuera del salón. A la hora de las comidas los niños se encargan de llevar sus platos y cubiertos al haber finalizado.

• Por medio de exposiciones sobre la temática del mes los niños van a afianzar la seguridad en la voz propia y a perder la timidez al exponer en público.

• Por medio de actividades como dramatizaciones, juegos de rol y canciones, en las que se trate la temática de las profesiones, se busca que los niños elijan su propio rol y actúen de acuerdo con este. Reflejando así sus gustos, hobbies y pasiones.

• A través de espacios de juego dentro y fuera del salón se va a incentivar a los niños a crear sus propios juegos con reglas específicas y a llegar a un acuerdo sobre los turnos que todos deben respetar.

• Logra realizar movimientos que implican visualizar un objeto en movimiento y atraparlo.

• Patea la pelota en movimiento.

• Logra saltar en un pie por más de 10 segundos. Y lo alterna con el otro pie por el mismo tiempo.

• Por medio de dibujos, rompecabezas y refuerzo de vocabulario se pretende mejorar el reconocimiento del cuerpo humano y rostro con sus partes. Además, se va a reforzar el la capacidad viso espacial en la hoja, acercándose a una representación del ser humano con proporciones correctas.

• Se utilizan imágenes y dibujos realizados por los niños, estos serán alusivos a los trabajos y profesiones.

• Recortar figuras geométricas para reforzar el uso de las tijeras.

• Se realizarán manualidades que involucren recortar, pintar, colorear y picar.

• Se realizarán actividades al aire libre en juegos guiados como pistas de obstáculos y juegos con balones.

• Se harán actividades que involucren en equilibro.

• Por medio de las actuaciones y juegos de rol se incentiva la expresión corporal.

• Por medio del uso del tablero de vocabulario se refuerza el vocabulario y pronunciación en inglés de los niños. Tanto en el tema de las profesiones como el vocabulario de meses pasados.

• Por medio de imágenes, disfraces o dramatizaciones los niños van a reconocer las diferentes profesiones. Además, se va a incentivar las asociaciones entre las profesiones y los objetos o herramientas más comunes que las caracterizan.

• Se utilizan herramientas como los temporizadores o cronómetros que les indican a los niños en qué momento inicia y finaliza una actividad.

• Reforzar durante la jornada la habilidad de permanecer concentrado en un estímulo y no distraerse mientras realiza una tarea esperada. Esto, por medio de juegos grupales e individuales que involucran las seriaciones lógicas.
