Janus Fire Systems® Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems utilize 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Suppression Fluid or FM-200® stored in steel cylinders fitted with forged brass, differential pressure-operated valves. Three valve sizes (Sv, Mv, and Lv Series) each with multiple cylinder size options allow individual cylinder capacities ranging from 22 lbs (10.0 kg) to 1000 lbs (453.6 kg).Clean agent extinguishing systems — Safe for human occupancy and permissible for normally occupied spaces; Extinguish fire rapidly; Leave no residue; Electrically non-conductive; Trusted choices in waterless fire protectionTypical Areas of Protection — Telecommunications Facilities; Computer Rooms; Control Rooms; Museums; Historical Archive Storage; Art Galleries; Pharmaceutical and Medical Facilities; Record Storage Facilities
Novec 1230 FluidThe Next Generation Halon alternative; Balances human safety with environmental responsibility; Zero ozone depletion potential; Global warming potential of one; 5-day atmospheric lifetime
FM-200®Most widely used Halon alternative clean agent; Zero ozone depletion potential; Used in over 100,000 application in 70 nations

Janus Design Suite® Calculation SoftwareThe Janus Design Suite® Flow Calculation Software allows users to design and calculate agent flow for systems utilizing FM-200®, Novec 1230 fluid, or HPCO2, including hazard pressurization required venting. The JDS software package also includes a Proposal Maker tool that offers Janus Fire Systems® product integrators an expedient method for developing accurate proposals.

HPCO2Janus Fire Systems® High Pressure CO2 Fire Extinguishing Systems utilize carbon dioxide stored as a liquid in cylinder assemblies designed specifically for this purpose and pressurized to 850 psi (58.6 bar) at 70°F (21°C).HPCO2 cylinders are available in 50 lb (22.7 kg), 75 lb (34.0 kg), and 100 lb (45.4 kg) capacities.
LPCO2 Storage UnitsJanus Fire Systems® Low Pressure CO2 Storage Units consist of an insulated ASME VIII pressure vessel, steel outer shell, integrated refrigeration unit, ASME safety relief and bleeder valve(s), and liquid level and pressure gauges. Storage units are available in capacities ranging from 1.25 ton (1.13 metric ton) to 50 ton (45.4 metric ton).
