Make sure to start the

new year by ensuring that your

pet has had his or her

annual physical

examination

Page 3: January slide show

Why is an annual exam important for your pet?

Pets age quickly and they are unable to tell us if they are feeling a little off. Remember, it may be one year in your life but that can be about 5-10 comparative years in your pet's life. A lot can change in that much time.

What is Feliway Spray??? •Feliway is a synthetic copy of the feline facial pheromone, used by cats to mark their territory as safe and secure.

•By mimicking the cat’s natural facial pheromones, Feliway creates a state of familiarity and security in the cat's local environment.

•As a result, Feliway can be used to help comfort and reassure cats while they cope with a challenging situation(such as going in a carrier And coming for their Checkup)

Page 21: January slide show

How to use Feliway to get your kitty in the carrier………….

•Use Feliway spray at least 15 minutes before putting the cat inside cat carrier.•Spray inside the cat carrier. One spray in each corner and two sprays on the floor and ceiling.

•Feliway also comes as a plug in diffuser for home.

•It can also be used to help the stress of moving, traveling, renovations, intercat aggression and others.
