Free tickets for one of our specially selected Wigmore Hall Series concertsPlease note, there are approximately 35 Chamber Zone tickets available per concert
A free workshop in your school
Free programmes and interval ice creams
A deposit of £50 is required for all school bookings, which will bereimbursed on arrival. School groups must book concert tickets at least1 week before the date of the concert. No free tickets will be allocatedon the night without prior booking.

Britten Sinfonia Featured Free WorkshopLinked to their concert on Wednesday 13 February
During this two-hour workshop, Key Stage 3 students will take inspiration fromthe concert repertoire and explore some of the musical ideas composers haveused to create their pieces. Along with workshop leader James Redwood andtwo players from Britten Sinfonia, they will create original group compositionsinspired by the pieces in the concert and explore the idea of writing music fortheatre and of musical borrowings. Having gained a new appreciation of themusic in the programme, the students will come to the concert at the end of theweek to hear it all in action. This opportunity is offered on a first come firstserved basis and is available to one secondary school. To express an interest,please contact Chloe Shrimpton on [email protected].

Friday 1 February 11.00 am – 12.00 noon
Join five wacky woodwind musicians from theCalefax Reed Quintet for a tale of tubes, pipesand whistles. Set in a Music Factory, thisextraordinary show is packed full of musicalhumour and re-workings of Mozart, Debussy,Bach and Prokofiev, including opportunitiesfor the audience to join in. An ideal concert forchildren learning the recorder.
Accompanied by a teachers’ resource pack.

HALF- DAY WORKSHOP
Wednesday 6 March 10.00 am – 1.00 pm
Led by Turtle Key Arts Director Charlotte Cunningham, facilitatorCeri Black and professional musicians, this half-day workshopwill provide an in-depth introduction into working with youngpeople with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Participantswill explore communication and social interaction,behaviour and sensory considerations and interactivelydiscover appropriate and accessible music activitiesthat are transferable to the classroom.
This workshop is accompanied by a resource pack.
Suitable for all types of practitioner.Limited to 25 applicants

Open toall instrumentalists; ideal for budding guitarists.
