Ragged Edge Presents: The Chef Show7.30pm - £14 Ticket includes Indian Meal

A DELICIOUS FUSION OF COMEDY PLAY AND COOKERY!The story of The Chef Show centres on father and son Abdul and Khalid on a particularly busy night in their restaurant. As they struggle to deal with the customers ‘out front’ and staff in the kitchen they also have to decide on the future of the family business. Will Khalid carry on the family business, or is this the end? Two actors play ALL the roles in the story of a busy night in the local curry house. They are also joined by a chef from your very own local restaurant, the Naaz, offering a spicy cookery demonstration. Deliciously entertaining for all the family!

“This is a chef’s special, a deliciously funny and occasionally dramatically-

daring concoction of a play.”British Theatre Guide

THEATRE10 MarchHambledon Productions Presents: Steptoe & Son7.30pm - £13

Albert and Harold; father and son. One proclaims he’s “a poor old man” while the other protests that actually he’s “a dirty old man!” In actual fact, both are telling the truth. These two warring rag-and-bone-men, in their Shepherd’s Bush scrapyard home, became household favourites for entire generations throughout the 60s and 70s and still they continue to entertain audiences today.

Now it’s time to relive some of their finest misadventures through this brand new production. Marking fifty-five years since the show’s first ever broadcast, Hambledon Productions (Hancock’s Half Hour – The Lost Episodes, Educating Rita, Just Like That! The Tommy Cooper Show) breathe life back into the Steptoe household with this faithful, fresh and hilarious adaptation of original episodes from the long-running smash hit BBC sitcom.

COMEDY

A true master of comedy shares a wealth of great stories and anecdotes from his career including “The Goodies” and “I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue”. Tim relates how he directed Orson Welles in a feature film, shot a memorable round of golf with Sevvy Ballesteros, persuaded David Frost to employ Marty Feldman and played a key role in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

There’s stories about John Cleese, Richard Wilson, Graeme Garden, Bill Oddie and more. With luck Tim may be persuaded to reveal the truth about Samantha and the rules of Mornington Crescent. Add to this warmth and humour plenty of clips of great moments from Tim’s TV and film appearances and you’re sure of an evening of fun and laughter.

“This was a truly enjoyable evening, packed with laughter, that passed all too quickly” - Audience member
