Christ’s exaltation consists in his rising again from the dead on the third day; in ascending into heaven; in sitting at the right hand of God the Father; and in coming to judge the world at the last day. No Historical Highlight Luncheon This Month: We have cancelled the January 8 Historical Luncheon. Sunday School Next Sunday, January 13: Regular classes resume. Building Fund Update: The projected cost of the Living Stones Project has been $1.2 million. We have received $762,780 and have spent $618,365. We estimate another $300,000 will complete and furnish the building. – the end is in sight! We are grateful for end of the year donations that have come in and especially thankful for work currently underway! Thank you for all your continued prayers and faithful support. (See letter on the back table for details.) Ladies’ Monday Evening Bible Study will begin January 7, 6:00 pm at the Welcome Center. It will be a Kay Arthur Bible study: “Revelation Part 4, Interpreting Revelation in the Light of Biblical Prophecy.” Sybil Clark will be the facilitator. Speak to Sybil or Mary Sorensen if interested. Ladies’ Tuesday Morning Bible Study Begins January 22: The group will do a study of Nehemiah by Kethleen Nielson called REBUILD. Cost for the study guides will be $15. Contact Stefani Carmichael to sign up and order a book. There is a faithful group of French Camp and community ladies who attend this study – and room for more! (Child care provided if needed!) Christmas Scenes: We will begin taking the scenes down this week. Let Roy, Jason or Alex know if you can help! Children’s Worship Bags: Is there anyone willing to help clean out and put fresh items in the Worship Bags sometime early January?? (items supplied) Grieving the Death of Aaron, Joy and Sharron Naik who died of smoke inhalation in a housefire December 23. We are thankful arrangements have finally been made to take the bodies back to India for burial early this week. There will be a memorial service in French Camp Monday, January 14 - time TBA. Please continue praying fervently for Pastor Naik and his wife Sujatha and for the staff and students of FCA as they return tomorrow.
