meet. Deck Entries will close 30 minutes prior to the beginning of each session.

Format: All events will be pre-seeded. Fly over starts may be used. 8 & Under individual events will be staged. Multi-age event format will be used except for 8 & U events. The Hy-Tek event file for Senior events will be 15 and over. However, a swimmer of any age may participate in the 15&O/Senior events. Please “age-up” a swimmer younger than 15 who wants to compete in the 15 &O/Senior events. If you need assistance entering a swimmer younger than 15 who wants to compete in the15&O/Senior events, contact the Entry Chair. Please note: Heats/events may be combined due to time constraints, but will be awarded as separate age groups. The number of heats per event may be limited to meet session time limits.

Coaches Packet: Coaches may pick up their packets at the Scoring/Records Table. Any monies owed must be paid before

you can obtain your packet. Please be prepared to show your USA coach’s card or deck pass coaching credentials at the time you pick up your team packet. Coach’s cards/Deck Pass coaching credentials must be available at all times on deck.

Awards: Individual: 1st – 16th ribbons for 12 & U High Point Awards: 1st – 3

rd : Male and Female 8 & U, 10 & U, 11-12, 13-14, and Senior Heat Winner Awards: penguin rubber duckies Awards will be bagged by team and must be picked up at the meet. Awards will not be mailed after

the conclusion of the meet. Heat Sheets: $5.00—cash only (Available free at www.sea-y.org)

Admissions: $5.00 per session for spectators over the age of 12—cash only.

Food: Food and beverages will be available during the meet. Coaches will show their USA Swimming Coaches card to receive complimentary food and drink.

Conduct: All coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and will see that their club has proper

supervision at all times. Meet Marshals have the authority to remove any swimmer and/or spectator from the meet for any violation such as improper behavior, damage to property, etc. No smoking on the premises. Please encourage your parents and swimmers to clean up after themselves.

Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, restrooms or locker rooms.

Changing into or out of swimsuits other than locker rooms or other designated areas is prohibited.

Flash photography and photography from behind the starting blocks are prohibited at the start of each race.

Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the competition venue. This includes pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms anytime athletes, coaches, officials, and/or spectators are present. Exceptions may be granted with prior approval by the Program Operations Vice Chair. 103.13M/Drones.

MAAPP: Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP). All applicable adults participating or associated

with the respective meet to which this information applies, acknowledge that they are an applicable adult, subject to the provisions of USA Swimming’s MAAPP, and that they understand that compliance with the MAAPP Policy is a condition of participation in the conduct of this completition.

First Aid: Report injuries to the Lifeguard and Meet Director. First aid kit is located at the Lifeguard stand.

Lost & Found: An area for lost and found will be designated at the meet. After the meet lost and found items will be

donated to charity. Meet Results: Results will be posted on the Wisconsin Swimming website. A copy will be emailed to every club entered in

the meet. )

Time Trials

LC Penguin Challenge

South Eastern Aquatics January 18-19, 2020

Sanction # WI 2020—127TT

When: Time trials will be held at the conclusion of the Saturday and Sunday sessions as time permits and at the discretion of the meet directors. Pool will be open for a 10 minutes warm-up period following the conclusion of the session.

Events: See the meet order of events listing. Events and or Genders may be combined at the discretion of the head official and the meet directors.

Time Limit: SEA reserves the right to limit the time trials to 1 hour. If swims do not make it by the time limit, those fees will be refunded.

Limit: The maximum number of individual events in one day is four (4). This includes time trials. These may be only time trial events or a combination of time trial and meet events.

Fee: $10.00/individual event AND $20/relay event..

Participants: Swimmers already in the meet are eligible for time trial events.

Registration: Registrations will be accepted up until Noon Saturday and Noon Sunday.

Procedures: Swimmer(s) will sign up for an event at the pool office.

Swimmer(s) will fill out a seed card at the office—swimmer’s name, age, team, event name and seed time. Seed card and event fee must be turned in to the office before the deadline (above). A meeting for time trials participants will be held prior to the start of time trials. It is the swimmer’s responsibility to be ready to swim when his/her event is called. The referee will not hold the start of the event to wait for a swimmer to show. An announcement will be made that time trials are beginning and swimmers should report to the meeting immediately.

Host Club Provides: Officials and Meet Management.

Swimmers Provide: Timers, stopwatches (some may be available) and counters, where applicable.
