As a Church Family we are often asked to share our gifts and talents.

Well, the Trustees have been asked to look into creating a Directory of

Providers that already exist within our Church Family.

Do you ever need a Handyman, Electrician, Cleaning Service, someone

to do Yard Work or perhaps a Plumber? Our Church Family members

are talented and provide services that you may not know about.

If you are interested in being included in this Directory of Providers,

(This directory will be known as the CUMC CHURCH FAMILY

BUSINESS DIRECTORY), leave your Business Card or equivalent

information in the marked container located at the Greeters Station

(entrance to the Sanctuary).

You are not being asked to provide a Service for FREE, but I’m sure a

discount would be most appreciated. If you have any questions contact:

Bethany Beach Retreat : Thursday, August

15th/Friday August 16th -Sunday, August 18th

Calvary United Methodist Church is hosting

a retreat weekend at Bethany Beach this sum-

mer. Open to individuals, families and friends

of the church. Four or seven meals are in-

cluded depending on date of arrival. Beach,

playground and other amenities are available

throughout the weekend. Come play in the

sun, relax and be refreshed!

FILL THE UNIT

JANUARY 13 TO FEBRUARY 10 We have changed the format of our Sunday school! Effective January 13, 2019, we will offer a combined 3 year-old and 4 year-old preschool class headed up by Ms. Shelley. Preschool students will go directly to the classroom at 9:20 a.m. For children Kindergarten through 5th grade, we will continue our rotation model format with two stations each Sunday instead of four. That also means that volunteering to serve in this area will now only require a two-Sunday commitment instead of four. As a volunteer for our upcoming unit February 17 to March 17, you would choose to be either a leader in Cooking (2/17 and 2/24) or Art (3/10 and 3/17). You could also choose to be an elementary helper on either 2/17 and 2/24 OR 3/10 and 3/17. Middle School will begin a new lesson series called Echo The Story which allows the youth to look at scripture in a new exciting way tapping into their creative minds. High School will continue to be in God's word and learning how it applies to our lives today. February 8th - 10th - Rock Retreat Don’t forget to get your permission slips to Ms. Jenn! Confirmation - Confirmation for the spring will be starting soon, register with Jenn if you want your youth to participate. There will be a parent/youth information meeting this month, so be on the lookout.

2019 College Scholarships : The Baltimore-Washington Confer-
