Frontier Enterprise sales go on-line For several years, Frontier has advertised selected items on eBay for direct on-line sales. This has usually been limited to about 1,000 SKUs. The remainder of the inventory has been on the Frontier website for sale, but through a quote cart system. Beginning in February, Frontier will slowly roll out direct on-line sales from our website. Previously, because of the dynamic nature of the refurbished equipment market, it was impossible to post accurate, real-time pricing for unique enterprise products. With new inventory technology, our product managers will be able to monitor and update pricing. Once items are added to a shopping cart customers will be able to select from a range of shipping options with accurate, low Fed-Ex shipping rates. Frontier’s same day shipping for orders placed by 4:00p.m. EST will be in effect for on-line orders. There will still be some unique items where static on-line pricing is not appropriate, and those items will have traditional quoting available. Of course, our knowledgeable product managers will be available, as always, through phone, email, and IM. Frontier’s outstanding customer service and tech support will be unchanged.

Partner Summit a rousing success On January 22, 2018, Frontier and Peplink hosted the first North American Partner Summit in San Antonio, Texas. The

event was an opportunity for Peplink resellers from Canada, Mexico, and the United States to meet and discuss future technology with Peplink Engineers and staff.

The event kicked-off with Peplink CEO Keith Chau outlining the expected growth in the SD-WAN marketplace and continued throughout the day with new product introductions, technical explanations and significant feedback from the partners. In addition to Mr. Chau, Travis Durick, Erik deBie, Tim Simdorn, Kody Krier, and Adam Hasbargen represented Peplink. Josh Varghese of Traceroute presented an in-depth look at using Peplink in IoT. Later in the day, Niko Bradway of Google showed how Google is using Pepwave hardware to establish robust, temporary WiFi access for events around the world. In addition to the formal presentations, there were hands-on demonstrations of several new products ranging from the massive Pepwave EPX to the diminutive SpeedFusion engine.

Perhaps the most valuable portion of the summit was the opportunity for resellers to talk directly with Peplink about the innovations and changes their clients are requesting. Several new software and firmware updates will come from ideas directly generated at the summit.

FRONTIER DOG OF THE MONTH

Marketing Diva, LucyLucy is a Coton De Tulear. As if to prove you can’t believe everything you read on the Internet, the website, www.dogbreedslist.info says of her breed, “Easy Training: The Coton de Tulear is intelligent, making it a quick learner.” Lucy’s didn’t get this memo. Although she is only six pounds, Lucy rules the marketing department and the only training going on is of the humans in her general area, especially her mom, Marketing Manager Jennifer Hennigar.

Lucy and Bissell (September 2017) are work sister and brother, and will look for each other every morning when they get into the office. Although, in Lucy’s case, that may be because she is planning to share Bissell ’s breakfast. Lucy is just as happy on the floor as she is surfing

desktop to desktop in the marketing department. She’ll be more than happy to tell you when things are not to her liking.

Despite her bossy nature, Lucy is well loved and more than willing to return any affection that comes her way. Although reluctantly, Lucy will also suffer the humiliation of the ridiculous things Jen asks her to wear.

If Lucy really likes you, she will chew your sleeves (when she’s on the desk) or cuffs (when she’s on the floor).
