January 2016
VOL. 7 ISSUE 1
“The dictionary is the only place where success
comes before work.” -Mark Twain
Well, here we are again, starting all over. Let’s
all strive to make this the best year possible in
all facets of our lives.
We’ve got some very interesting workshops
planned for 2016. I hope you all can attend.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic to have overflowing
classes!!!
See you all January 22!
Charlie
Are You Interested in the Cullman Fiber Guild Weaving Study Group?
Even if you don’t have a weaving loom, as members of the Cullman Fiber Guild, you have an opportunity for hands-on experience with weaving
looms. Peinhardt Living History Farm has received several looms as donations. In particular, there are two Structo looms that Pat Peinhardt wants
dressed so museum visitors can see them.
We need to decide on dates and times that will work for those interested in this study group. For
instance, when there is a short workshop on a fourth Saturday, we could meet in the afternoon, or
whenever is convenient.
Let us know if you’re interested in a loom weaving study group and when would be convenient for
you.

New Website:
www.Cullmanfiber.weebly.com Websites are always a work in progress. Some sites let you have more ease with updating your information than others, while some just look pretty. Our webmaster has tried to find a perfect middle ground for us to be able to have a successful website. There is still some updating going on with the new site, but it is up and running. Please be considerate! Workshops can have waiting lists. If you pre-register and then find you cannot attend, notify the Cullman Fiber Guild so that the first person on the Waiting List will be able to take advantage of this learning opportunity.
