at KVHVF Avadi. Nearly 30 former

teachers and 300 alumni from all

decades participated in this event.

teams were awarded gold and

silver medals respectively. All the

matches saw an enthusiastic

response from the students as well

as alumni, the hockey match was

won by the senior alumni team.

KVHVFAA EVENTS

KVHVFAA President Raakhee Sukumar receiving the

certificate of appreciation from Government Maternity Hospital

A Blood Donation camp was organized by KVHVFAA on 15th

August 2014 on the occasion of Independence Day at the

VIjayantha Institute in association with alumni from neighbour-

ing schools Vijayantha senior secondary school and KV AFS

Avadi.

This camp was enabled through the Madras Voluntary Blood

Bureau and aided the Government Maternity Hospital, Chennai.

Nearly 100 people including parents of students of KVHVF, em-

ployees of HVF, college students, and alumni participated in this

annual drive.

Yet another proud moment for KVHVF and KVHVF Alumni Association - Hearty

congratulations to Ms. K.G. Sujaya - KVHVF Alumni, former KVHVF Teacher

(PGT Chemistry) and Principal, KV Kalpetta - for being awarded National

Award for ‘Best Principal of the Year’. Congratulations and Best Wishes from all

of us at KVHVFAA.

KVHVFAA extends a very warm welcome to the new

Assistant Commissioner, KVS, RO, Chennai - our very own

Shri D. Prabhakaran Sir who served as physics PGT around
