ties on or off campus such as
student orientation, Intramurals,
student government, Discovery
House, Pharmacology Club, Air
Force National Guard, Invest-
ment Banking Club, Rutgers Uni-
versity Programming Associa-
tion, and Rutgers Radio.Why is there a picture of Frank

currently planning our first ever
Pig Dinner as a colony for this

Rutgers Phi Gamma Delta,
nicknamed FIJI, has been a
name associated with
excellence for over 90 years at
Rutgers University. Theres asaying that goes, The more
things change, the more theystay the same and fortunately
this applies to the Nu Beta
Chapter. The campus and theway students and their families
approach Rutgers University
has evolved and changed over
the years, however, leadership
on campus and among
fraternities remains an im-
portant legacy of Phi GammaDelta.
On Friday, October 19, Rutgers
University welcomed the
return of the Nu Beta Colony
of Phi Gamma Delta. Origi-
nally chartered December 29,
1917, the Nu Beta Chapter
has been inactive since 2007.The founding fathers boast a

show the city of New Bruns-wick that we are here to help.By participating in the campuscleanup, we were featured inthe schools newspaper forour outstanding service. Alsoas a group we have completeda total of 300 service hoursthis semester alone.

Rutgers Bed Races
This year the Nu Beta Colony
participated in the 5th annual BedRaces for the children of New
Brunswick. It was our first majorevent that showcased our grand
return to the student community.

Pledge Education
On December 4th 2012 the NuBeta Colony reached the mile-
stone of completing Pledge Edu-
cation. Their next steppingstone will be formal initiation!
FIJI Academy (below)
On January 4-6 2013, four members from the Nu
Beta Colony attended the FIJI Academy in St.Louis where they were exposed to the basic ele-ments of chapter operations as well as higher lev-el leadership development. This opportunity wasseized and not taken for granted. The lessonslearned on our journey were shared with all the
brothers of the colony .
