    OLD BUSINESS:

    Convention: Lion Bernhardt reported that there is money

    available in the convention fund.Pickerel Tournament:Lion Weisenbaugh reported that Lion Al

    Kodet offered to place an ad for boat ticket sales and ABC in theThumbprint news.

    NEW BUSINESS:Discussion on Committee selection and roles.

    Lion Koltz reported that the boat is at A15. He also has a

    printer looking for a home.The KofC wants to have a Superbowlparty.

    Lion Gordon asking for people to go to the rat dinner onHarsens Island.

    On the 16th of January Mr. Ed Knappenberger was welcomed asa guest of Lion Martin.

    The minutes of the January 9th meeting were read and

    approvedPRESIDENTS REPORT:

    Pres. Loomis thanked everybody for selling tickets at the Novishow. With special thanks to Lions Smith and Koltz for their extraefforts. To celebrate paying off the boat we will have a steak dinnernext week. The next show is Feb 21st.

    COMMITTEE REPORTS:

    Pickerel Tournament:Lion Bernhardt reported that the boat is

    paid off and we are ahead of last year at this same time.Lion Smith and the PT Committee recommended we have bingo

    this year. It was decided to outsource bingo. He then said that he is

    99% sure of two fireworks nights. There also a queen from 1957 whonever received a crown He will get her one also he needs to have acounter for the website.

    Lion Art turns 84 next week and he is trying to get him downhere so we can sing to him.

    Boys and Girls Committee: Lion Gordon of the reported thatthe spaghetti dinner is scheduled for Feb 28th. We will supply the

    food and the hall.Membership:Lion Treppa said there will be a meeting tonight.

    On January 9th the celebration of Lion John McQuadesBirthday started the meeting.

    The minuts of January 2nd were read and approved also Board

    and Charities minutes were read.PRESIDENTS REPORT:

    Pres. Loomis asked for a motion to give the cook and

    dishwasher each a monetary Christmas gift. Motion mde and carried.He then asked for a motion to donate moneu to the Emment Lion wholost his daughter. Motion made and carried. We need more help at

    the boat show. Please sign up.

    COMMITTEE REPORTS:

    House:A motion made to support the Algonac High School YearBook by purchasing an ad. Motion carried.

    Lion Watkins asked for approval for the Jester ad. from the

    advertising committee .It was approved. Lion Walker will handle the website for the

    ABC.Lion Smith stated that the queen applications are out. He also

    said that Sue would take a pay cut during the slow months. The clubdeclined her offer.

    OLD BUSINESS:

    Lion Bernhardt reminded that the bar is closed from thebeginning of dinner to the end of the meeting.

    NEW BUSINESS:

    Lion Mangus asked for monetary support for Donna Gault forher medical expenses. Motion mad and passed.
