Find your group letter and have a seat. Inside the purple folder is a paper “Chapter XV: The Equipment, Supplies, and the Method of Traveling.”

Planning a trip to the WestYou are planning a move to the West with your imaginary family: two
parents and two small children The year is 1820. You plan to travel alongthe Oregon and California Trails, making a new life when you arrive at yourdestination. Use the information you read in chapter XV.
DIRECTIONS:1. Use the Outfitting Guide with the prices and your item selection list to
record the purchases you would make in order to survive the trip West. You should record what you will purchase, how many you will buy, how much they cost, and the total amount you will spend on each item.
2. Turn over the item selection list and answer the questions about the decisions you made. Answer each prompt entirely and in complete sentences.
