1. Take Fevicryl Fevicryl Mouldit - resin base and hardener. Mix it thoroughly to make an even dough.

3. Take a ball of the dough, roll it to make a slab with a rolling pin.

4. Take different shapes of cookie cutters and stamp out various shapes like a heart, star, flower and a circle from the rolled slab.

5. Make holes on the opposites sides of each cut out dough for dangling. Make about 8 pieces of each shape.

6. Create different textures on the clay with the help of the stamps, clay carving tools, pencil, pen refill, pen caps and paper cutter. Leave it to dry.

7. Paint all the pieces using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Prussian Blue 19, Turquoise Blue 22, Ultramarine Blue 23 and Cerulean Blue 32.

8. For a rustic look on some of the shapes, first paint with a darker shade of blue and roughly wipe out the colour with a rag, and what you get are the dark shades that would remain in the grooves thereby giving texture.

9. Then paint with another shade of blue on the same surface.

10. Dangle the shapes using a jute yarn and blue coloured plastic beads securing the beads with knots towards the ends.

11. Dangle them on a wooden frame or directly on the wall.

Money House Bank

Material: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, White 27, Fevicryl - Water Based - Glass Colours - Orange and Brown, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Ruler, Lid of a Plastic Container.

A money bank – a concept that is age old and fun to collect coins and money. A good way to inculcate and teach a child to save money. A fun activity and technique that would engross adults and kids both to attempt and make.

1. Take Fevicryl Mouldit - Resin Base and Hardener. Mix it thoroughly to make an even dough.

2. Take the ball of dough, roll it to make a slab with a rolling pin.

3. Make 2 same sized slabs to build the front and the rear side of the house measuring 7½” inches in width for the base, 7” inches in height, it will taper and

narrow towards the roof which measures 3½” in size. Make two same sized slabs to build the two opposite lateral sides of the house measuring 7” inches in height and 4” inches in width along with two window cutouts. Refer to the design sheet of the money house bank shape.

4. Take jute fabric and make impressions on both the slabs.

5. Let the slab semi dry. Make sure that one of the lateral sides of the house curve slightly as seen in the main image.

6. Assemble the rear and front side along with the two lateral sides of the house by sticking it with a little Fevicryl Mouldit and Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry completely.

7. Take some dough, roll it further to make a slab for the base of the house. Cut the slab in the size of the base of the house.

8. Take the lid of the plastic container to block the base of the money bank, mark and cut the slab in the size of the lid on the base of the house to remove money from the bank. Stick this slab as the base of the house with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

9. Take some dough to make the stone arched door and window, stick them with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

10. Take some dough, roll it further to make a slab for the roof of the house. Mark and cut out the slab in the size of the roof. Make a slit on the roof to drop the money in.

11. Take some dough, roll it further to make a thick coil to border the roof for a finished look.

12. Take some dough, make small balls, flatten them in your palms and stick these flattened balls on the roof using Fevicryl Fabric Glue, to give a pebbled look and texture.

13. Paint the house with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Orange 17, Chrome Yellow 03, White 27 and Fevicryl - Water Based - Glass Colours - Orange and Brown.

Rustic Collection

Material: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Copper 353, Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Pearl Metallic - Bronze 355, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, A4 Sized White Paper, Paper Cutter, Rolling Pin, Water Container, Clay Carving Tools, Pencil, Ruler, Pen, Plastic Container, Toothpick, Ornamental Stones (light blue and green coloured, round shaped and small green coloured teardrop shaped)

A trinklet holder thats been given a rustic look and feel. The shades used on it are antique looking in today’s modern age and times where it is appreciated. Learn to make this lovely and unique holder with textures and techniques.

1. Take Fevicryl Mouldit - Resin Base and Hardener. Mix it thoroughly to make an even dough. (This is your prepared dough). You will need 9 packets (50gms x 9) of Fevicryl Mouldit to make the jewellery box and a small bowl.

2. Take the ball of dough, roll, mark and cut a slab

measuring 10½” x 2½” inches in size.

3. Take a ball of dough, roll and make a big circle measuring 4” inches in diameter for the lid and 1 small

sized circle measuring 3½” inches in diameter for the base of the box.

4. When the slabs have slightly semi dried, create textures on them with various mediums like a clay carving tool, pen cap, a refil and a toothpick.

5. Take the plastic container, roll the textured slab around it. Stick both the edges with Fevicryl Fabric Glue by merging the clay properly.

6. Stick the circular base of the box with Fevicryl Fabric Glue and your circular jewellery box is ready.

7. Take a ball of dough, roll it to make a circle measuring 4” inches in diameter for the small bowl.

8. Take a plastic bowl of 4” inches in diameter to use it as a mould. Place the slab inside the bowl and cut it in the size of the bowl. Create similar textures as done on the jewellery box. After drying remove the plastic bowl that was used as a mould.

9. Paint the jewellery box and the bowl with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02 and Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic - Copper 353.

10. Embed the green stones with 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Pearl Metallic - Bronze 355 on the lid and inside of the bowl.

11. Enhance the jewellery box and the bowl by sticking few teardrop shaped green coloured and light blue coloured round shaped stones with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

Tribal Mask

Material: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Canvas Sheet, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Card Board Paper Roll, Rolling Pin, Toothpick, Clay Carving Tools, Colourful Wooden Beads, Jute Fabric, WaterContainer.

A decorative piece of art that can enhance your living room or study space. These tribal masks would give character to any space that lacks vigour and vibrancy.

1. Take Fevicryl Mouldit - Resin Base and Hardener. Mix it thoroughly to make an even dough. (This is your prepared dough). Roll the ball of dough to make a slab using a rolling pin.

2. Take the cardboard paper roll and cut it in half vertically. Take the rolled slab and cut it in the size of the paper roll evenly. Stick the slab on the cardboard paper roll using Fabric Glue. You will get a flat surface to create the masks.

3. Prepare some dough to make the eyes, lips and nose of both the masks by sticking it with Fabric Glue.

4. Prepare some more dough, roll it to make thick long coils. Flatten the coil to make the head band for one of the masks. Cut the head band accordingly and stick the band on the head of the mask with Fabric Glue.

5. Create textures on the band with a clay carving tool. Stick few candy sticks to create the crown for the mask.

6. Paint the mask with the head band, crown, and further enhace the mask face with designs using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Chrome Yellow 03, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19 and White 27.

7. To make the earrings for the mask, from the canvas sheets cut two triangular pieces. Paint them with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Dark Brown 05. Stick few colourful wooden beads with Fabric Glue to form a

floral design. Once ready stick and adorn the mask with these earrings using Fabric Glue.

8. Enhance and decorate the mask by sticking few colourful wooden beads on the crown and the head band with Fabric Glue.

9. Take the other mask and paint it with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Black 02.

10. Take the canvas sheet. Draw and cut big triangles. Make geomterical triangular shapes in a continuous pattern to design the crown. Decorate the face too.

11. Take the canvas and the jute fabric. Cut the canvas sheet in a triangular shape and the jute in a circular shape. Stick the triangular canvas and the jute accordingly as the crown of the mask using Fabric Glue.

12. Stick the continues design of small triangles around the head gear and big triangles on the face using Fabric Glue. Refer to the main image

13. Paint the crown and the triangular pieces of canvas which are stuck on the face with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03 and Orange 17.

14. Paint the dotted design with a toothpick using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19 and White 27. Enhance the masks by sticking few colourful wooden buttons with Fabric Glue.

Material: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, Golden Yellow 09, White 27, Crimson 04, Leaf Green 62, Cerulean Blue 32, Fevicryl Pearl Metallic - Gold 352, Fine Art Canvas - 16” X 20” in size, Fine Art Brushes, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Colour Palette, Jute Yarn, Colourful Fabric Pieces (Sky Blue, Dark Blue, Brown), MDF Wood - 8”X 13” in size, Water Container, Scissors, Half Imperial Sheet of Green Coloured Card Paper, Pencil, A4 Sized White Paper, OHP Sheet, Rolling Pin, Painting Knife, Clay Carving Tools.

Define your homes with a frame such as this and see how well your spaces get highlighted. The colours and hues used are brilliant and can be quite versatile to suit a lot of home decor colour schemes. Make these mixed media themed frames and adorn your mundane walls with them.

1. Take an A4 sized white paper and draw a face of a man with a turban and khes and a woman with a dupatta on her head.

2. Take a rectangular MDF wooden placemat measuring 8” x 13” in size and spread a thick layer of Fevicryl Fabric Glue to create textures with the help of a painting knife.

3. Take Fevicryl Mouldit - Resin Base and Hardener, mix it thoroughly to make an even dough. (This is your prepared dough)

4. Take the dough, roll it further to make a slab with a rolling pin.

5. Take the drawing and place an OHP sheet on it, place the slab on OHP sheet and cut the shapes of both the faces (that of the man and woman).

6. Cut the turban and the khes of the man and also the dupatta of the woman from the slab. Stick it appropriately. Leave it to dry.

7. Prepare some dough, roll it to make a long coil. Take the coil and make the jewellery for the man and woman.

8. Remove the figures from the OHP sheet and stick it on the textured rectangular placemat with Fabric Glue.

9. With some more prepared dough, make a moon and few branches of a tree on the textured placemat.

10. Paint the faces, jewellery and the textured background with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Orange 17, Golden Yellow 09, White 27, Crimson 04, Leaf Green 62, Cerulean Blue 32 and Fevicryl Pearl Metallic - Gold 352.

11. Take the sky blue, dark blue and brown coloured fabric pieces. Mark and cut the fabric pieces in rectangular shapes.

12. Take the fine art stretched canvas measuring 16”x 20” in size. Stick the rectangular fabric pieces on the canvas board by overlapping one over the other and securing the borders of the fabric with Fevicryl Fabric Glue.

13. Stick the painted placemat with the figures on one side of the canvas board with Fabric Glue.

14. Take the jute yarn and stick it to replicate the branches of the trees on the canvas using Fabric Glue.

15. Cut few small and big leaves from the green coloured card paper. Sponge dab few leaves with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03 and Leaf Green 62 to make to make different shades of green for the leaves. Make about 60 such leaves. Stick these leaves appropriately on the jute branches with Fabric Glue.

Sleeping Buddha

Material: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Leaf Green 62, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Canvas Board 16” x 20”, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Water Container, Clay Carving Tools, Painting Knife, Newspaper, Pencil, Half Imperial White Card Paper, Ruler, A3 sized OHP Sheet, Siporex Slab, Siporex Carving Tools and Hammer, Sand Paper, Black Carbon Paper.

A peaceful wall of art that echoes serenity, tranqulity and a zen like feel. The subdued shades are mesmerising and can exuberate an atmosphere of peace and calm. Learn to make it and bring about that difference.

1. Draw a Buddha sleeping on a bed of grass surrounded by lotus flowers, leaves and few trees like bamboo and peepal trees on an imperial sheet of white card paper.

2. Take 2 siporex slabs. Trace the buddha posture using black carbon paper. Carve the design accordingly with siporex carving tools and hammer. Even out the figure of buddha with sand paper for a finished look.

3. Take a fine art canvas board measuring 16” x 20” in size. Spread Fevicryl Fabric Glue on it to create a texture using a painting knife.

4. Stick the siporex carved Buddha on the canvas board with Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry.

5. Take Fevicryl Mouldit - Resin Base and Hardener. Mix it thoroughly to make even dough. (This is your prepared dough). Roll to make a slab with a rolling pin.

6. Take the drawing and place it on an OHP sheet. Place the slab on the OHP sheet. Cut out the lotus petals, the centre bed of the lotus and leaves from the slab.

7. Create the texture on the petals and leaves with a clay carving tool. Twist the petals and the leaves slightly to give a natural look.

8. Assemble the petals to make the lotus flowers, buds and leaves on the OHP sheet using Fabric Glue. Take some dough, roll it to make tiny balls, stick these balls in the centre bed of the flower with Fabric Glue.

9. After drying, remove the lotus flowers, buds and leaves from the OHP sheet and stick them towards the bottom side of the canvas with Fabric Glue.

10. Prepare some of the dough, roll into a slab. Mark and cut few stripes to make the bamboo tree and also cut few peepal leaves.

11. Create the texture of the bamboo tree and the veins of the peepal leaf, using clay carving tools. Twist the peepal leaves slightly to give a natural look.

12. Make coils from the dough. Stick the bamboo tree and the peepal leaves with the coils as branches of the trees, on the canvas board behind the sleeping Buddha using Fabric Glue.

13. Paint the sleeping Buddha along with the background in a shading effect using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27 and Leaf Green 62. Refer to the main image.

FOR THE LOVE OF CRAFT Bird Book Ends

Material: Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Water Container, Clay Carving Tools, Thick Wooden Plank - 3” x 12” in size

These pretty little bird book ends are rather innovative and would add that touch of class to your book shelf. You could make different types of animals, or maybe a fictional character right out of your books as an inspiration for these book ends.

1. Take Fevicryl Mouldit - resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

2. Take the dough ball. Mould it to give the basic shape of a bird. Make 2 such shapes for the birds. Take some dough and make 4 tear drop shaped wings, the web shaped legs and a small beak out of it. Leave it till it semi dries.

3. Stick the wings and the legs to the body using Fabric Glue. Create a texture on the wings to give a more realistic look using clay carving tools. Make a pair of tiny eyes and stick them appropriately along with the beak with Fabric Glue.

4. Make sure that when you are making the birds, one of the birds is looking at an angle upwards and the other is looking straight.

5. Paint the birds in a shading manner using Acrylic Colours - Crimson 04 and Chrome Yellow 03. Paint the beaks of the birds with Crimson 04 and the eyes with White 27 and Black 02.

6. Take the wooden plank measuring 3” x 12” in size. Paint the side walls of the plank with Acrylic Colours - Chrome Yellow 03 and Crimson 04.

7. Stick the birds on the plank towards the two ends using Fabric Glue. Let it dry completely. Your book ends are ready.
