for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher
Education (AASHE), RMI built on foundational research
published by various sustainability professionals at universities and the National Wildlife Federation’s growing Low-Carbon Campus Series.

International Technology Transfer – Innovative
Wood Framing System Japan
This system allows an unskilled crew of 6 to completely assemble a house in a couple of days. After discovering this technology I developed relationships in Japan to successfully adapt for US code approvals, created and performed structural testing plans and raised $5M in capital to start the first plant in the US. Designed, pre-cut and built over 12 homes in MN and WI.
Created a national marketing buzz leading to inquiries and stories from Builder Magazine, Popular Science and 14 newspapers across the country from the Washington Post to the San Francisco Times. Over 500 people from all 50 states and 6 countries inquired about the system in one years time.
