Jameel Arts Centre - Main Contract Works Facts Project Description The Jameel Art Centre Dubai (JAC) Project comprises of the "build only" construction of the main building works and associated external works on the plot at Cultural Village, linked to the Dubai Creek. The main scope includes an arts centre building with artist residence and creative enterprise incubator consisting of galleries, artist studios, classrooms, incubator spaces and a restaurant. Built up Area: Basement - 3,725 m² Ground Floor - 3,050 m² First Floor - 1,175 m² Second Floor - 650 m² Third Floor - 120 m² Total : 8,720 m² During the contract negotiation it was decided by the Client to convert main trades of the subcontractor works into optional work packages, (will be awarded separately) like elevators, external façade, doors, windows, floor & ceiling finishes, external works, light fittings, etc. Enabling works like shoring, piling etc. was awarded to Züblin Ground Engineering Dubai in a separate contract.
