Life As A Kid

• The black river was thought to be the longest river in Jamaica but actually the Rio Minho river is.

• The black river got its name from all the gunk and layers of seaweed and plants which make the under water look black.

• The main roads in Jamaica, especially in the cities, are in pretty good condition.

• But in the country side there are holes in the road and always lots of animals on the street.

• The people that live in the country side don’t usually have cars so they depend on many different types of transportation
