Coffee tables are inspired by the combinationof glass and oak to create a sleek design. All ofthem are uniformed in size to make the rangebatch producible but have slight variations insize and uses. The glass is used to give thepiece distinction and light weight aesthetics

for certain markets. The small square ta ble isdesigned as a lamp table and the larger is acoffee table. Both artifacts are for a high endabode with oak as an interior, the piece wil lthen flow seamlessly with the theme.

This piece was made from only using machines; thetask behind this project was based on adjusting asimple design with my own twist. The ideal position

for this table is at the end of a sofa as the height ofit is the same as the average arm rest; however itcould also be placed in a hall way if so desired.

This piece was commissioned for a small townstraditional event, which has been running everyfour years since 1104. The requirements for thechair was that it had to carry a couple through

the towns streets by eight of the local workingcommunity. I wanted to put a modern twist onthe traditional design in order for the localtradition to be updated to the 21 st century.

The colour contrast of the two materials makesthe items of furniture stand out against the restof a room. The construction of the curves is by aprocess called laminating; this involves gluing thin

strips of timber together around a former thatreconstructs them into a solid piece again. The bed andbedside tables are a matching set for the customerto achieve a consistent style within the bedroom.
