Jaiveer’s musical journey started on his grandmother’s piano,when he was five. Self-taught on the guitar, he works on a rangeof music including, Hip-Hop, RnB, Indie, Pop and alternativegenres. Jaiveer's musical inspiration finds its roots in Jazz andBlues and the greats such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy and LouisArmstrong. His music can be found under J.A.I.V on the popularmusic streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music andAmazon Music. Jaiveer is guided by the philosophy that music isa universal language which transcends boundaries and disparityand connects individuals in a way that no other medium can.While his impact project "Mentoring Through Music" has givenJaiveer the opportunity to use his passion for the widercommunity, he continues to grow and learn as a musician. Creating a versatile discography, with one overall vibe, Jaiveeris inspired by artists such as The Weeknd and Drake. He has alsoco founded the label "Dead In Paradise" with the aim to provideemerging artists with a platform to showcase their work. Thelabel boasts a roster of artists with whom Jaiveer hascollaborated as a producer and performer. Since the beginning ofhis career, J.A.I.V has accumulated more than 400,000 streamsacross popular streaming platforms. Invited to perform pan India, venues have included The EasyHuman Cafe in Mumbai,"We Work",and"Kadence"in Benguluruand "Pianoman", for a ticketed performance in New Delhi.Favourites in Jaiveer's repertoire included Misty by EllaFitzgerald, Feeling Good by Michael Buble, Tennesee Whiskey byClake Beckham JR and Gravity by John Mayer. Equally importantto him are his musical contributions to The British School, wherehe has regularly performed live onsite and online at schoolevents and landmark occasions. He has been instrumental in theschool securing 1st place at The ISSACI World Choral Festival and1st place during the Eurovision contest. Committed to usingmusic as a tool for social change, during the pandemic Jaiveerhas recorded original compositions as well as covers to raiseawareness on issues pertaining to mental health andconservation of our Planet. "Valiant" an original compositiondedicated to army personnel, defending Indian borders duringthese challenging times featured on the Integrated Defence Staffof India's YouTube channel. "Glorious" a cover bringing hope tothose suffering from mental health issues was endorsed bySukoon Healthcare,India's one of kind super specialtypsychiatric facility. Jaiveer's home studio which he built himself, has been his safespace during the pandemic while collaborating with emergingartists from India and South Africa. Jaiveer believes that hismusical journey has enabled him to continually learn and grow.Importantly he says "it has made me a better human being."
