Start from Delhi @ 4AM, halt at RTDC's Hotel Midway, Behror for li'l break. Before entering in jaipur, you'll see a Y-split road. Continue straight, left fork goes to Ajmer bypassing the jaipur city. After some KMs, you'll see a small road on your right heading towards Amer (some call it Amber!) Fort. Change lanes very carefully, as vehicles in other lane comes very fast! Visit Amer Fort. Bikes/Cars can reach the parking lot at the main enterance gate very easily. No issues. Come back & continue on same road, and visit Nahargarh (shhot of Rang De Basanti) & Jaigarh (Jaivan Cannon) forts as well. You'd be free by lunchtime from forts! Head to the hotel in old city where you'd be staying for rest. Old city is better for travellers on short notice & stay! you can have lunch at LMB Hotel in old city area. nice and famous. relish on local food! it's really good. In evening, you can visit Albert Hall, Birla Mandir, and some local markets before heading to the outskirts of Japiur City for Chokhi Dhani. Enjoy there from 5.30-6PM onwards till about 11-11.30PM. And then you can reach back your old city hotel in not more than 30-45 minutes. Next day wake up as per your wish, and head towards hawa- mahal, jantar-mantar, city palace. all these 3 points are adjacent to each other, hence they should not take more than 2 hours! And again, you're ready to roar again by lunch time! Now start moving towards Delhi, and on way to Amer Fort again, stop for a while at Jalmahal for some clicks! nothing much is there... just a tourist place for few quick clicks! Then vrooom to Delhi at about 3-4PM max, as you'll face lot of traffic being a Sunday evening! By about 10PM, you'd be in your homes!

In the meanwhile don't forget to have a glass of lassi at Lassiwala (MI Road). You can also visit Javeri Bazar and shop for pearls/stones.

Jaipur is famous for sanganer print bedshets and suits.Visit Rajasthali emporium on MI Road and get realy nice stuff at affordable prices

Visit Chowkidhani, which is 12 km away from Clarks Amer Hotel. The timings are 6.30pm to 11.30pm. There is puupet show, magic show, game stalls and amazingly tasty food served in a royal manner.

jewelry from Johari bazaar, buy the soft very much foldable silk/satin block print razai that has pasmeena wool stuffing (can't garuntee that its pasmeena) and beautiful blue pottery. Also check out block printed textiles but be careful to select vegetable dyed prints. I personally feel, its best to visit a good shop like Soma (my personal favorite) in jacob road for cotton block prints.

On the shopping list are statuettes, photo frames and pill boxes which are available in abundance on M.I. Road and the silver shops on the Badi Chaupar crossing.
