Zones and wards of JMCThere are 91 wards in the Corporation divided into 8 zones of Moti Dungri

Zone comprises wards No. 51,53,54,59,60,61,62,64,65.

Hawa Mahal East comprises wards No. 63,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73,85,86.

Hawa Mahal West comprises wards No. 74,75,77,78,83,84.

Vidyadhar Nagar comprises wards No. 1 to 14,23,24,25,79,80,81,82.

Civil Line comprises wards No. 15 to 22, 26,27,28,30,56,57,58,76.

Sanganer comprises wards No. 35 to 39 ,45,46,47,48,49,50,52.

Amber comprises wards No. 87 to 91.

Mansarovar comprises wards No. 29, 31,32,33,34,40,41,42,43,44,55.



Honorable Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje dedicated a number of projects for Jaipur on 25th June, 2016, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Smart City Mission at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur.

The CM inaugurated the rooftop solar power plant, restored 14 traditional step wells, Sawan Badhon Park at Ram Niwas Garden and real time information display system in Bus-Q-Shelter.

A few government buildings will initially be covered under the first phases of Solar Power Plant project, while the project of restoration and rejuvenation of 14 baoris (traditional step well) is being taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 4.37 crores.

The Ram Niwas garden has been renovated “to restore its glory” with an overall expenditure of Rs 9.7 crores by Jaipur Development Authority. With revamp expenditure of Rs 3 crore, a part of the Sawan Badhon Park was also dedicated to the citizens.

On the occasion, the CM said, “The day is not far when with the vision and the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jaipur will rank No. 1 in the Smart City Mission.” She added that also under the ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’, Rajasthan is ahead of other states.

UN World Environment Day is observed worldwide every year on the 5th of June to raise awareness about protecting nature and the planet Earth. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 and was first observed on June 5, 1974. This day is also known as Eco Day, Environment Day and WED.

The Jaipur city runs on the occasion of World Environment Day. A marathon race is organized on this occasion on 5th June, where Jaipurites run for the environment together during the early morning hours.

Chief guest Honorable Mayor Mr. Nirmal Nahata said "It’s a fun activity, which lets you connect with other Jaipurites and is also good for your health. It is the responsibility of everyone in the world to contribute in protecting the world resources and help in maintaining ecological balance."

On the occassion of World Environment day on 5th June, 2016 plantation has been done in Jaipur Nagar Nigam ward No 25 in the presence of Honorable Mayor Mr. Nirmal Nahata.
