We are looking for Junior Entrepreneurs, who…
… are JADE Member (in a Junior Enterprise or on Confederation level)
… are students or fresh graduates with the ability to seriously relocate to
Brussels for one year or regularly contribute to the team remotely
… have proper command of English and desire to improve professional use
of foreign languages
… identify their values with those of a Junior Entrepreneur and represent it
seriously
… are passionate about JADE concept and spirit
Tasks of JADE Team
To promote JADE and the Junior Enterprise concept to third parties
(companies, media)
To represent JADE and the Junior Enterprise movement in front of
European and other international institutions, as well as other European
students associations.
To foster closer links between Junior Enterprises and Confederations
To coordinate Members international activities
To manage or support all departments, projects and processes in JADE
Headquarters
To maintain strategic thinking and acting in the organisation
To increase the quality of its members by offering exchange and
programmes
If you work in Brussels, to be a good and social house-mate, who takes
care of the house and contributes to the team

Your opportunities…
We are looking for four people from the European network to complement JADE Team 2014
European Public Affairs Manager
The Public Affairs Manager will
support the Vice-President in
dealing with possible and existing
partners in Politics and other
student organisations.
You will attend big political
meetings representing JADE and
Junior Enterprises as a concept
for Europe. You will also apply for
EC grants, a very important
source of money for JADE.
You will work together with a
Brazilian Ambassador.
Employment relationship: 12
months full-time in Brussels
JSM Senior Project Manager
JADE Spring Meeting 2014 in
Brussels is one of the biggest and
most tangible projects of JADE.
The Manager will create big
impact and learn a lot, for example
by taking care of 350 European
participants and managing a huge
budget including fundraising and
finding supporters and partners for
the event.
You will also be responsible to
manage whole JADE Team in
organising or supporting the event.
Employment relationship: October
to March full-time in Brussels
All positions ideally start in August. However, the handover is
mandatory and will take place in July, if necessary, remotely.
Employment relationship can be flexible, if reasonable, but you should
work for JADE at least three months..

Your opportunities…
We are looking for four people from the European network to complement JADE Team 2014
IT Coordinator
The IT Coordinator will support the
Executive Board in concrete
practical and technical tasks.
You will be responsible for
programming tools and the
website and also manage the
content of Podio or other platforms
useful for JADE. You will get deep
insights into JADE work as you will
work together with almost all
departments.
There is a lot of space for projects
and creativity.
Employment relationship: 12
months part-time remotely
Graphic Designer
The Graphic Designer takes care
of all operational work regarding
the Communication Department
and visual identity of JADE.
You will be responsible for finding
or creating new images for all
brochures, flyers and other
marketing material, not to forget
managing the Social Media
appearance of JADE and the
content of the website.
There is a lot of space for projects
and creativity.
Employment relationship: 12
months part-time remotely

Are you ready for the challenge?
If you can answer most of the following questions with YES,
you will be a perfect candidate for a position in JADE Team
2014.
• Are you willing to work unpaid and live with low budget?
• Are you willing to live together in the same house with the
same people you work with?
• Are you willing to experience your personal borders
regarding work load?
• Are you willing to commit yourself for some months full-
time?
• Are you willing to move to Brussels – a big city with various
cultures – or work remotely on international level being
managed by an HQ in Brussels?

We can provide you with a Recommendation Letter even before getting chosen by the Executive Board, but it does not guarantee your election. Your work in JADE also counts as an internship!

Brussels and life in JADE HQ…
Working and living in
JADE House
During the term of service (1st
August 2013 – 31st July 2014), the
elected members move to JADE
HQ in Brussels, Belgium,.
JADE HQ has one floor with
offices and the rest of the floors
are set up for living (bedrooms,
bathrooms, living room, kitchen
etc.).
During the stay in JADE HQ, the
Team members have to share the
space with each other. as well as
with guests from the Network.
The work of JADE Team is
voluntary, so unpaid. However, the
Team members pay a daily
contribution for accommodation
and utilities in JADE HQ, daily
food, fees and transport to attend
international and national events.
The amount though depends on
the budget that can vary from year
to year.
As the hierarchy is quite flat team
members might get deep insights
into JADE organisation.
Working and living in
Brussels Brussels is an old European city with
lovely parks and secret little streets.
You can find a wide variety of cultural
activities and many international
people. The HQ in Brussels, the
capital of Europe, helps JADE to be
closer to the European Institutions
and some other international
Headquarters of companies, which
support our Network.
The geographic location makes
travelling around Europe really easy.

How can you join us?
Team 2014 Term of Service
1st August 2013 – 31st July 2014
• Full-time working and living in JADE
Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, or
part-time working from home, but fully
involved and responsive
• Handover starts in 1st July
• Compulsory attendance handover in
the HQ starts around 15th July
To be able to work full-time for one year,
previous JADE Teams either took a gap
year in their studies, or continued studies
and took JADE ExBo as an internship
approved by the university, or they were
recent Bachelor/ Master graduates.
Time schedule of the call
Deadline for the application: 7th June 13
Interview phase: 10th June – 16th June
Deadline for the decision: 21st June
1. Explore our organisational culture

2. Check if one of our advertised
positions suits your knowledge,
experience and passion… but also
your time (and relocation, if
necessary) availability!
3. Do not be afraid about money
problems, you should apply for
ERASMUS or Leonardo-Da-Vinci!
4. Fill in the Podio form mentioned
downwards including English CV,
Motivational Letter and
Recommendation Letter of your JE
and/ or Confederation.
5. Wait for an answer and get ready for
an interview.
Please keep in mind that you have the
best chances of getting chosen (having
the same qualification), if you stay the
maximum duration.
